An ok stay

I had booked two rooms for my family and I. While my room had no issues, the other one my sister had said that the pillows smelled and the sheets were damp. Also her bathtub wouldn’t drain. The stay wasn’t horrible and the water not draining in the shower was an easy fix. The breakfast was not very good, and the pool was closed the whole time we were stayed.

When we checked in desk clerk said they were sold out for the evening so they upgradedus from the king I prepaid for to a queen one br suite, which I didn't want because I had to share the bed with children. They made us take the suite and when we went in there were food crumbs all over the kitchen floor, someones open toothpast packets in the bathroom and towels everywhere, the rug clearly not vaccumed I didn't even make it into the separate bedroom before turning around and leaving and demanding the king room I prepaid for and that if they considered what they just put us in an upgrade they should refund me immediately. King room was a little better. Bathroom was fully cleaned but shower basin was cracked and starting to rust. Room was sprayed to smell fresh but I still question if it had been vaccumed. Beedding was very wrinkled but appeared to smell clean and unused. Breakfast was cold every morning including the "warm" buffet items. I had just spent 4 days at TownPlace in Lansing, MI and it was beautiful and staff was much more pleasant This location needs some updates physically and in staff.

I recommend that no one stay at this facility there was no pool that was working no jacuzzi working which was not expressed and Expedia I should have looked at the reviews better before choosing this facility the rooms were very dirty no housekeeping I thought for a new facility that I was going to be very pleased with this but I was very wrong I had to go by bleach to clean the floors the counters and the bathroom there was dirty rags from the previous people that stayed there in the drawers in the bathroom me and my daughter had to wash the headboard down with bleach for the money that I paid for this facility I should have been refunded for some of the amenities that were not provided I had no clue that the pool had no heat and that the jacuzzi had been broken for over a year and a half it look like Ray Charles caulked and painted in the hotel room especially in the bathroom no bathroom fan it smelled I literally wanted to cry the first night there because I was so disappointed very very bad choice do not stay at that facility there was no shampoo conditioner or body wash in the bathrooms the towels were minimal, and I had to get more. Mind you when I first got there the first room they gave me was dirty not cleaned at all so they gave me a second room that was just as bad.i totally do not get that, it was very disturbing how dirty these rooms were. I took pictures hoping to post them it was that bad.

WOULD I RETURN?

I was an out of town guest and my experience I would never suggest this place to others!!! 1. There was no phone in our room, asked front desk rep about it her continued response “it SHOULD be by the bed” after being told multiple times there was no phone in the room. No i will send someone up to look, there was no time where the worker took initiative to send someone or come up and either replace or provide an accommodation or incentive. Customer service at all time low based off just that. 2. Shower was HORRIBLE! That’s it. 3. No dish soap for dishes. 4. Sheets WERE DIRTY! 5. light bulb flickered in the bathroom Breakfast by a thread (there should be options of meat for non pork eaters, so my breakfast was limited, and suggest a label for creamer) and the gym were the best things out of the stay.
