Service from hotel front desk was excellent. Service at the restaurant was acceptable but could have been better. Also, for one of the nicest suites on the property I hoped for better amenities such as maybe facial wipes or liquid soap rather than the standard bar soaps. We couldn’t even use the shower gel in the soaking tub since it was mounted tightly to the wall in the shower. We wish the kitchen would have included a microwave and silverware. And there were fruit flies in the kitchen. But overall a nice stay and a beautiful room.

Our credit card was charged a $15 fee after check in. When questioned they said it was for the “free drink” tickets they gave us. That really put a bad taste in my mouth - not cool Royal Park! They also charged a $20 parking fee which at least they were up front about- but we parked our own car and it wasn’t even under a garage.

The Royal Park is a beautifully appointed hotel. The staff was very nice, our room was lovely and food/drinks we had were very good as well. I stayed were once before and they did not disappoint.

Outstanding experience beautiful remodel. I have one small complaint and that is now you’re charging for overnight self parking. Rochester is not lLA or NY😟 I also would like to suggest to remove the shampoo and soap bottles on the wall in the shower and go back to small personal bottles. I would expect this minimal amenity from the royal park. I would expect the bottles on the wall in the Holiday Inn and not the Royal Park

We really liked this hotel. It's beautiful, but it was not without a few hiccups. First, there was no coffee maker in the room, and the coffee in the lobby was usually tepid at best. Second, upon arrival, we were told by the receptionist that there was a concert at the hotel the next night that we could enjoy. It turns out that the concert required tickets which had been sold out since May. Finally, one of the receptionists was not responsive to questions I had about an elevator which was broken. I would stay there again, but only if the rates were discounted.

This was my first time at the facility; I will return. The staff was solicitous, the food was good, and the facility is a great hotel. The housekeeping staff, on the other hand, was not up to par. In fact, one day they completely forgot to clean the room. In spite of this, when in Rochester, I recommend the Royal Park Hotel.
