Good stay terrible experience with Chelsey

Everything was good with my stay until I was overcharged. I spoke to Chelsey who was extremely disrespectful. She said she couldn’t explain the overcharge. When I told her that I felt she was not handling the situation properly, she told me “I don’t need a lecture on how to do my job” and she hung up. Apart for that very unfortunate incident, my stay was pleasant. They have a decent breakfast and the room was good.

I stayed here for just one night as I was leaving for the airport in the morning. It was close to a few spots to grab some food, had a convenient airport transfer, and the staff I encountered were lovely. Great for a quick stay if you're heading to the airport early!

I stayed here upon arrival in Detroit and also my last night before my flight home. This hotel offers very good value for the dollar. I have stayed at Baymont Inns on occasion, but this is one of the nicer ones I have been to. I would recommend.

The entire hotel smelled of cigarette smoke, and with the temps being so hot this week, the room was extra damp and musty. Also received an automated wake-up call at 3:30am after traveling for 24-hours and not even getting to our room until after 2am. Staff was friendly and respectful, but overall it's like the price reflected - a cheat hotel experience.

I probably will never stay at this location again due to the overall cleanliness of the property however the front desk women Sarah and another who worked the evening of 6/21 were so kind to me and super helpful! Sarah especially helped me my first night after I had to change rooms not once but twice due to various issues she was super helpful and was the only reason I didn’t leave that evening to get another room! Thank you to both women in the front desk!
