I have used the ANA as a layover base in Tokyo on Asian business trips three times now. Tokyo is an expensive city and this hotel is no exception however I find it very convenient. It is on the shuttle bus route to Narita and is also a short taxi ride away from the monorail to Haneda. It is close to the Ginza line metro as well and there are numerous restaurants and convenience stores within 10 minutes walk. Concierge staff are all very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions and directions. Check-in very smooth and efficient, especially with my last minute change of check-in dates done through Expedia. Good Asian/American buffet breakfast on the ground floor. Spa could be better equipped and laid out, and it is a pity the outdoor pool is often closed, but I wasn't in Tokyo to spend my time in a pool! Rooms average size but very quiet, given its location. I will return!

I wasn't expecting something over the top. I was, however, expecting a clean, quiet room. I got the clean quiet room, with a very kind, friendly, helpful staff. What I did not expect was the beautiful view from my window of the ferris wheel and the surrounding landscape.
Thank you so much.

The common areas were grand in style. The staff was absolutely amazing! They were so nice and extremely outgoing. The restaurant on the first floor was a good value, we ate dinner (all you can eat crab and Wagyu beef) and breakfast (Asian/Western mix) there. The value of the dinner was very good and the drink prices were in line with what you would expect at any nice restaurant. We would go back in a heart beat.

The staff was exceptional at the Kamakura Prince Hotel. When my husband became ill in the restaurant, they were by his side with caring and concern. The overall experience there was pleasant, serene and calming.

Staff is friendly and upgraded us to the penguin rooms which the kids loved!
Avoid the 1F breakfast. The Benedict was cold and the French toast was on a cold skillet.
