Extremely disappointed. The hotel is rundown, the room did not have an exhaust and one of the staff members at the buffet was not friendly when my friend inquired about an alternative menu (everyone does not eat pork). Requested and paid for an oceanfront but upon arrival, was give a partial view.

It was very cold and the bedding was awful, the toilet trees caused a rash and the steakhouse made me sick literally throwing up, my friend who was in room 518 at first had a roach and her curtains were dirty and the room was not mopped or swept. In my room they used a blanket to make me a swan for my birthday which took over an hour. At arrival my room wasn’t ready and I had to keep going to registration and ask them if it was after they neglected to have the bell boy bring up the key. There were some staff that were amazing like Jenny the bar manager she always greeted us with a hug and asked us if we needed things and three other employees that displayed great service a black semi heavyset guy young with braces, a lady with a black young lady with a blonde and black short haircut, and another lightskin woman with boho braids blonde and black. Those employees were exceptional and provided exceptional service everyday. They get a 10/10

Very disappointed with the RIU. I did not get the full ocean view room I paid for. Staff at front desk could care less. My room was dirty and every chrome fixture was rusted. Front desk offered me a cleaner room not much cleaner for and extra $120.00. I have no choice but pay it. It was still a partial ocean view facing the public beach with trash. The staff didn't not care and did not try to make it right. We just dealt with dirty blankets and the run down room. Other staffers told me it is a common complaint and the hotel has gone down.I will never go back.

Good food. More booze than anyone can drink. Beach was very nice except for the vendors where non stop yelling jet ski for rent. Steaks not the best cut and on cheap side. But lots of others things to choose from. Gym needs a face lift with better equipment. Windows need to be cleaned. Entertainment on stage not great.Over all would go back.
