Boutique hidden gem

Great boutique hotel with very tailored customer service. Everyone was very nice and the hotel was just the cutest. It used to be a convent, so it preserved a lot of the original structure, but with modern amenities. Had a lovely stay of 3 nights and it was just luxurious. Love the location as well. Highly recommended.

Excellent location, most things were within walking distance. The premises are well kept, and clean. Rooms have the old San Juan feel but with modern touch, such as the remodeled bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend!

What I didn’t like: When I first entered the room, there was a ceiling panel on the floor and water dripping from a hole, apparently caused by a leak from the air conditioner. The A/C wasn’t cooling properly, and the room would get very hot once the sun came up. Because of the heat, I kept waking up early and couldn’t sleep comfortably. Also, the towels were stained and had a slight unpleasant smell, which was disappointing. What I liked: The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is phenomenal—very central and close to the most popular attractions in Old San Juan. My room was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel and room offer a great mix of historic charm with a modern touch. The hotel is beautiful, and the pool area has a nice view. It’s one of the few places in the area with a pool.
