We had a very enjoyable stay at Auberge Place d'Armes. The location is outstanding—right in the heart of Old Québec, within walking distance of the city's main attractions, cultural sites, and many excellent restaurants. It made exploring the historic district incredibly easy and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The room was clean overall, although I think there is still a little room for improvement in housekeeping. That said, it did not affect our overall experience. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to Québec City and would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel with an exceptional location in the Old Town.

Great location with vehicle parking onsite and across street. The breakfast that came with our meal was good. Our dislike was our windows faced a gas station that had bright lights on all hours of night, with only curtains for the window cover. Light filtered through the sides and middle slits of the curtains, causing it to be difficult to sleep. Adding a blackout roller shade would be beneficial for these rooms.

Beautiful rooms in an excellent location. Practically next to the chateau. Walkable to shops, restaurant, cathedral, and the stairs/funicular down to the lower parts of the city. Friendly front desk, though much is done through online communication. Was a little confused with their online instructions or Expedia messages and was expecting a code to enter, but then there was someone attending the front desk, though they are not always immediately there because they are doing a few other things. Anyway, was a short wait, but amazing and spacious room with everything you need and an excellently-working AC!
