The room was a little small but it was clean. A couple of things we didn't like about the room were the bathroom fan didn't work and doors(front and balcony). The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was well...very typical 2 star hotel hot food. Parking was difficult. The lot was not big enough. The place is family and kids friendly, but there was a group of grown ups drinking alcohol in the pool and playing loud music with their speaker. It's their vacation too, so they could do whatever they wanted...but they got drunk and were too loud. Some smoked cigarettes on the deck constantly while kids were around. As parents with young children, that wasn't pleasant experience. We loved the staff, but didn't like the environment.

This property needs a facelift! The only good thing was the location right on the beach. One of the worst things was the “pool or beach” towels. They were a joke! They had to be 25 years old and SO tiny! Not worth the money to stay here.

Meh!

The staff was friendly. The closet doors were rusty and only one door rolled well on the track, the toilet would refill vry loudly at random times throughout the day and night. They fired the entire valet service, announced it to everyone but still charged for the service.

In one week I had housekeeping only twice. The second time I just catch the cleaning lady which was just skipping my room!. The most stressful thing- the fault payment for the gest parking. Unbelievable-20$ plus fees, taxes and tips!!! It always was for free!

I called ahead to make sure I had a. Balcony Room FACING THE OCEAN AND They confirmed that but when I arrived and made it to my room it was on the Side of the Hotel and it was right by this Restaurant that played Music all Day and Night and I couldn’t sleep at all… On the day of my Check-out I asked for a Late check out because I was tired from not being able to sleep all night and they told me No and I Had to Drive Back To Atlanta,Ga 6 hour drive… Worst Stay I’ve ever Had on the Beach….

Good location for dining, shopping, etc. Room was oceanfront, and we could listen to the sounds of the ocean. Boardwalk was a 5 minute walk. Beach was very clean and peaceful. So many shops within walking distance.

On the web site it said valet parking on site nothing about being only way to park is to pay , so this was a surprise, then we wanted to just cancel our room and go back to Jacksonville, but no way they need 48 hours , we had only reserved the 24 hours before, front desk was very unfriendly and kind of rude , all the floors are tiles and i like a very cold room , the floors sweat , condensation builds up on the floor

Subject: Extremely Disappointing Stay at Comfort Inn & Suites Daytona To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my deep disappointment following a recent stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Daytona. While the valet service was attentive and courteous throughout the weekend, unfortunately, the rest of the experience was highly unsatisfactory. Several days during our stay, there were no clean towels available—neither for our room nor for the pool. When we inquired, we were told that the staff “didn’t wash that day,” leaving us with no choice but to purchase towels offsite, which was completely unacceptable. Additionally, the elevator was out of service for the first few days. Our room was on the 6th floor, and having to carry luggage and escort three small children up and down the stairs multiple times was exhausting and took valuable time away from our trip. The most troubling part of our stay occurred when I went to the front desk to have my room key revalidated. Despite providing my name (which the room was under) and valid ID, I was denied access due to “system issues.” The front desk clerk on duty, Jenna, was unhelpful, dismissive, and rude—stating, “It is what it is.” I pleaded for a resolution but was met with hostility. When I requested to speak to a manager, he also refused to help. Shockingly, Jenna went so far as to call me out of my name and made an unnecessary, inappropriate comment about how she “makes more money than me.” This behavior was not only unprof
