Really old building and it’s falling apart. The door of my room didn’t close properly unless slamming it shut, which I was sure it woke up a lot of other people in their rooms. Only one door cardkey for 2 of us. The bath tub was dirty. Overall terrible condition. Stay away.

Great location , very clean and decent price

Good for travellers passing through even for first fime family visiting BC. Staff are acommodating and shout out to Evelyn when we are checking out.

Where do I start? We decided to give this hotel a try since reviews were good and it was walking distance from restaurants and pubs. The first black mark was the fact that our keys didn't work. Not once, but both evenings we tried to get into our room (staying three nights) our keys did not work and we had to walk three flights two ways each time in order to get into our room. The second black mark is that no one cleaned or 'refreshed' our room for our whole stay. I specifically asked this time when we arrived after our day if rooms had been cleaned. The answer, and I quote - yes all the rooms have been cleaned. Guess what? Still no housekeeping. When I went down (three flights yet again) to ask for clean towels, washcloths and more toilet paper l was told that we were supposed to put the refresh sign on the door. Ok, sorry but no one told us that. To which the reply was "refresh signs are quite common and used a lot. Up three flights and guess what? No refresh sign. I didn't have to, but again I went down three flights to advise the front desk that there is no sign anywhere in the room and that perhaps they should make sure there is one when they clean the room tomorrow when we check out. No comp, no attempt to make it right, nothing but a"sorry for the inconvenience". We won't be back.
