"Met the needs to stay for a night"
It's an old hotel and so set your expectations accordingly. But the bathroom looked new and though small nice. Plenty of linen etc. We were there for just a night so wasn't looking for a lot other than a place to sleep and get up in the morning and get going. Road noise will be an issue if you keep the AC off. We kept the AC fan on throughout and so it was not an issue. There is a 24/7 subway across the street. I would probably stay here under similar circumstances since there are not a lot of options around Crater Lake.

"Out of the way stay in Crater Lake area"
We stayed at Lemolo Lake whilst on a road trip. It was the nearest accommodation we could get to Crater Lake. For those wanting a room by a lake it was a great location. Our cabin was basic and sufficient. It was the last week of the season and the store had next to no provisions to buy for dinner but the camp manager was very helpful and did all he could for us.

"New little inn, tricky location"
The inn is very nice and the rooms are comfortable. However, I wished I had known when I made the reservation that the inn location is at 10 minutes drive off the highway, on unpaved roads. My car navigation system could not find the location. Fortunately, Google maps on my phone was more adept at providing directions.

" Inn was miles from Crater Lake"
The Eagle Crater Lake Inn is an old motel; the people are friendly, the room was clean, the linens were better than even some high end hotels, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was with protein and sufficient. We had no idea where Chemult was but it looked close to Crater Lake on the map. The north entrance to Crater Lake is closed apparently 11 months out of the year. So we had to drive way around and back. The town is a truck stop with limited services for food. Most of the buildings are old and dilapidated in town. The one Chalet restaurant had friendly people, but not very good food. Wish we had done the Subway and bought a six pack.

"Rustically cute cabin in the forest"
Our 1st ever booking through Expedia and didn't know what to expect. We booked this cabin for it's location close to Crater Lake and found that it was quite comfortable for our night's stay. It was easy to get to, has it's own sightseeing adventure just across the road and, although it was rustic and compact, when we opened the cabin door we said "How cute". The cabin had a small frig, microwave, window a/c, a comfortable bed and a very small shower(but it was at least was in the cabin) and plenty of hot water. Picnic table and fire pit available for a camping experience with wood for sale at the little store. We didn't use the table or fire pit, we patronized the cafe across the street, but other campers were enjoying theirs. If we ever go that way again we'd stay again. Anyone going up that way needs to bring lots of bug spray. Elevation too high for poison ivy but not for bugs!

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Crater Lake National Park, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Crater Lake National Park hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
