This hotel is wonderful. Room was clean, bed super comfortable, room was large, loved the large bathroom with a lot of counter space, and really appreciated the light up makeup mirror. The halls are extra wide, the entire hotel is well designed and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the breakfast had a lot of options and variety. The outdoor zen garden, with waterfall and koi fish pond is such an amazing addition to offer guests to enjoy at their leisure. Well done!

Only issue is the shower was awsome, but it did fill with water while showering. Maybe it's weird, but it gives me an ick. Other than that it was wonderful. I mean for a small town it was a very nice stay.
They have fish food so you can feed the fish. That was a fun little surprise. Breakfast was actually pretty good as well.

Easy 0.4-mile walk to the main library/park. Also not too far from there to the main street and downtown. Great bed, room, lobby. Breakfast, wifi, and a pool. Friendly desk staff. The gym was not great. There should be a bench and dumbbells larger than 5-lb. There should be dumbbells at least up to 50 lbs. The resistance machine is dangerously and badly designed; there's no safe, reasonable way to use it as a chest press or pull-down machine. (I was very glad that it did have a pull-up/chin-up bar.) Also, the left side weight stack pin holes are misaligned and require creativity to access load above 100 lbs. I was glad there was a stationary bicycle; it would be better for me if there were a rowing machine in place of one (or both) of the ellipticals. One note on the lobby: Inner and outer doors should stay shut on days when the AQI is above 50.

I’ve stayed here many times because I am local and enjoy using their pool but their breakfast is equally phenomenal. My rooms are always super clean and very comfortable (although the beds are very high which could be problematic for shorter guests or ones with physical disabilities). The restaurant always smells wonderful and I’d decided on this trip that I’d try it but, they were closed on Sunday so hopefully will be open the next time I visit. The Japanese garden is wonderful and make sure to buy a 50 cent cup of koi food, the fish will love you for it! There is no better way to start, or, wind down a day than a walk through the garden. The whole area around the hotel is safe and extremely walkable; restaurants, a few big box stores and boutiques are a very short drive away. This is truly a gem in the area.
