Although I had a great view from my room of the water, the noise was terrible at night, cars and motorcycles racing till 3:30 in the morning Friday and Saturday night also the air conditioner although revert back to 70° does not stay on and the room would get hot right away and not stay cool

False Promises and Unpleasant Surprises

Upon checking in, I was informed that despite my reservation through Hotels.com indicating an ocean view, the hotel could not guarantee any specific room or view. This was particularly frustrating, as I had paid a significantly higher rate for the promise of an ocean view. After considerable negotiation, I was reluctantly assigned a room with only a partial ocean view, which fell far short of what I had expected and paid for. To add to our disappointment, my son discovered a dead roach while playing in the room. This was not only unsettling but also indicative of a lack of proper cleanliness and maintenance. Furthermore, the room itself was quite dated, with numerous nicks and dents on the bathroom vanity, which detracted from any sense of comfort or luxury. Overall, my experience at this hotel was unsatisfactory, and I would not recommend it to others. I certainly will not be returning for another stay.

Felt like because it’s the only hotel with conference rooms and the only full service hotel in the city they don’t bother putting in effort. Staff were rude for no apparent reason. Ex. At breakfast one morning I was waiting with my wife at the omelet bar for the chef to get back after he had said he had to grab something. He was gone for about 15 minutes and came back with nothing. Another family got in line behind us while he was gone when he got back he took all 5 of their orders before ours and then when I politely said I’ve been waiting here since before you left I was here first he told me I could go somewhere else while he finished there orders. When I saw he was done I got up and went straight back towards the bar from my table and as soon as he finished he left the bar again and didn’t come back for at least another 15 minutes before I finally got annoyed and left. they hide behind the Omni name hotels a mid tier three star hotel selling itself as a 4/5 star because of the name. They don’t even have microwaves in the rooms unless you get a suite. Honestly was very disappointed as my only other experience at an Omni was in Orlando fl and it was out of this world. Omni should be embarrassed to put their name on this property and its employees.

The staff were amazing. The location is beautiful. The hotel rooms and pool could use a bit of updating but it wasn’t bad. Just a bit dated. I would definitely stay again and I highly recommend.

NOT worth the price. Most of the time didn't have hot water, housekeeping didn't vacuum, toilet paper holder broken and not fixed when we notified them. Pool and pool area was very small and clogged full of little kids not being watched while parents drinking from bar. water cloudy - gross. no handicap way to get into pool without going out front thru busy driveway and locked gate that took an employee to open. nothing out even for a quick grab and go breakfast ( for over $500 for two nights) Emma the employee was wonderful and did acknowledge our special occasion :)
