The AC worked great and the property looked good overall. Our room however smelled like dog and the bare floors had a film all over them. When showering, the drain was barely working and I ended up standing in water above my ankles. The tiles on the bathroom floor were loose. The breakfast was very good.

We drove up for the Rockport Market in June. It was in easy walking distance although we drove over early to park. The facility is not brand new, but it's very clean and the breakfast was more than we expected with hot dishes and options for toast, pancakes etc. We'd stay there again. Didn't use the pool, but enjoyed reading my book there beside it in the evening.

Worst mistake

I did not stay, I was denied access to a bay view room that I paid for and booked into a smelling room on the second floor. When I approached the front desk to request a different room, the attendant refused. She also denied me access to the manager on duty. I immediately took my family to a different hotel where we were better received and appreciated. Anyone going here is making a bitter mistake. I'm still fighting them for unapproved charges to my credit card.

The room had a stench that came from the AC unit. There was hair in the bathroom and evidence of not being cleaned thoroughly. The main glass door resembled a meat freezer door ..cloudy because of poor maintenance. I will never stay here again. We requested house keeping and it was never done.
