Wonderful location. Really spacious suite room. Our daughter was still in the bedroom area but she had her own area and she preferred this. Staff friendly. I liked the requirement of booking breakfast & housekeeping. Seems very efficient. Points others have raised that we didn't have issue with: Noise: we were in the busiest central square. We did have an inside view from our room but the 'noise' didn't bother us at all. We were there on a really hot weekend & the room air cooling was sufficient. The breakfast was authentic and even though it was busy, didn't feel crowded. Points I would raise: No usb points in room and a double socket wasn't working in the bedroom (reported) which meant we had to charge our phones in a separate area. I don't know why some hotels don't provide water for the room. A bottle in the fridge on arrival would be most welcome. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Dislikes: breakfast. It was the worst we have had in a hotel stay. Powdered eggs that pose as scrambled eggs were terrible. No syrup for waffles. No fresh fruit. No toaster for breads. Old cinnamon roll Danish was the only option for Danish. No danish is Denmark? No orange juice. A bonus would be an omelette or egg station, but we understand if this is an extra cost. This is the only part of our stay that was very subpar.

From the outside, the hotel is beautiful. You can tell it once was a high end hotel by the pictures of year’s past hanging in the lobby area. However, our room was bare minimum. You need to let them know when you want

The lack of a dedicated shower in the suite really was a let down. The big bath was very nice but for every day use it was a pain to spend the hours filling it with water.

No hospitality for arriving guest

Great location! On site restaurant or bar looked nice but not available to hotel guest unless you make reservations in advance we were told. Not convenient for hotel guest just arriving who would just like to sit and have a drink and a bite to eat after long travel day. Don’t think I would stay at this hotel again.

Great location to main city area. Staff are helpful. Room was clean, nice. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! One detractor was the noise. Our room was facing out toward a busy street and people/bars/carousing could be heard until about 2 am. If that bothers you, I would book a room facing the courtyard.

Nice hotel with a great location. The WIFI is horrible, and I was charged $106 to wash a couple of undershirts, underwear and socks. $106 freaking dollars. I would have done it myself if there were any laundromats nearby. I understand that they contract a company to do the laundry, but you can't be charging people $100 for a basic load of laundry. Diagraceful.

Great location

We arrived in the morning and even though it was well before check in, they did have a room available which was fabulous. We were 2 adults with a teenager and stayed in a suite. The suite was adequate for our needs. Bedroom with very large bed and room with a bed settee. Bathroom was spacious with separate shower as well as a bath with shower over. Each room had window seats which were lovely to watch the square below. The temperature is centrally controlled and we found the rooms too hot, especially at night. We arrived on a Saturday. I’m not sure if this happens every Saturday night but there was loud music and dancing in the square until the early hours. Unfortunately this did disrupt our sleep as we needed the windows open as it was so hot. It’s also worth noting that the city hall clock chimes until midnight. Breakfast was good. Plenty of fruit juices to choose from. Waffle station, plus hot and cold options. Our only complaint is that they didn’t have English breakfast tea. Location of the hotel is superb. A few minute walk from central station and most attractions are virtually on your doorstep. I would definitely stay here again
