So glad we chose Hotel SP34 for our quick stop in Copenhagen! Location was perfect, walking distance from Central Station and Metro as well as all the top tourist destinations. Super cute, vibrant neighborhood. Room was quiet and we appreciated the blackout curtains, especially visiting in late-June when it hardly gets dark. Loved all the perks the hotel offered including the complimentary happy hour and night cap drinks, the workout facility, the bikes, and the social atmosphere. Staff was very accommodating - offered glasses of milk for my toddler and provided a comfortable crib for our use. The breakfast was FANTASTIC! Would definitely stay here again hands down!

We stayed for four nights in a penthouse suite with our two kids and loved it. I think different areas of the hotel have a different vibe, and some feel “nicer” than others, but where we stayed did not feel too loud as some reviews state even though we faced the road. The room itself was spacious with a nice balcony and big bathroom. The one negative is the shower design which somehow got the whole bathroom floor soaked after a shower. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is amazing, the wine hour is a great idea and has everyone out of their rooms and socializing. Thoughtful design, excellent location, and a lot of amenities we used. Would definitely come back here for another stay.

Unfriendly staff, noisy hotel

I found the front desk staff weren’t friendly. Once I checked in I asked once about some of the facilities (cinema etc) and wasn’t really met with a clear answer so I didn’t bother to ask for anything else after that. The breakfast was good and the room was clean, but I was woken up around 5 every morning by bin collection? And then again at 6. I didn’t get good sleep here and for that reason I wouldn’t recommend it.

I stayed for 5 nights total, and unfortunately I was placed in front of a construction area where work started as early as 7 am with loud conversations and construction noise. I think it was very miscalculated to place me in front of this construction area. Short term stays should have been placed in those types of rooms. I have mixed reviews about the staff. The day I walked in to check in, a staff member saw me struggling to get in, made eye contact with me and turned away. It wasn't until later that I realized he was the manager. The same manager promised to change my room after I realized I was facing a construction area, but after calling in the morning, I was told there were very few rooms opening up, offering me with a similar view/ situation. In general, the female staff were helpful/ friendly when I had questions. One of the hotel's focus is to bring people together, they have free coffee, free wine hour, and drinks at night. Regardless of whatever anyone has to say about the quality, I think it's a very generous offering. But in case you don't like people gathering in the lobby, I thought you should know. My room was attended to, however a (full) bathroom trash bag was left behind in my room. On several occasions, extra entry cards were left behind, that I would mistakenly swap out with my card and then would not allow me to get in to my room. A mess. The gym is in another building with a short distance away. There were many ways to improve my stay.

First the positives. The staff were really nice, friendly and helpful. Shared spaces were really good. Breakfast was very average. We liked that it was organic. The room was poor and not what we were expected. We had a suite. Beds for kids were very poor for price point. The adult beds were uncomfortable with strange shaped pillows and the towels were unacceptable for any level of hotel. We were promised a free minibar when we booked but actually it was free drinks at reception that we had to pay to be delivered or go get ourselves. Also had fridge in room that didn’t work. Not worth cost of room.
