Lovely, beautique hotel situated steps away from many tourist attractions and yet quiet for sleeping. Walkable to museums and shopping plus many small cafes and a canal that you can take a fun interesting boat ride.

Mixed feelings

I was a little disappointed that for over $200, the room was very small and actually faced the rear of the building rather than the more scenic view scene from the front windows. Unfortunately, when I was trying to take an afternoon nap to get over jetlag, there were children running around and screaming in their rear courtyard. But the buffet breakfast was very tasty.

This was our second stay. We are a family of three with a teenage daughter. The hotel is super well located right in front of the waterway. Restaurant options are great. We tried a few in the area and each one was delicious. The hotel breakfast is very good and has gluten free options for my Celiac daughter. There are plenty of bikes to rent and ride about. We are fans of this hotel and recommend it for someone who wants to be in the center of a walkable area that is also very close to public transportation, great shopping and amazing restaurants.

Were very pleased with the corner room with a fabulous view of Nyhavn. Room was good sized and comfortable. We were lucky enough to be assigned the one room with a narrow wrap-around balcony. A small table / chairs would be a good addition. The continental breakfast was simple but fresh and adequate. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful; the breakfast attendant seemed a bit stiff. Downsides were greatly overcome by the positives. But be aware that the elevator to the rooms is VERY small. Also, without air conditioning fresh air from open windows can be a necessity. With its outstanding location, street noise can continue late into the night and maintenance work on the street / sidewalk during our visit started promptly at 7 am. Closed windows helped, but did not seal out noise completely. That is the price you pay for being in the middle of it all. Highly recommend opting for the corner room with view if you can get it.

Perfect location for your trip to Copenhagen!

Perfect locations right in the middle of Nyhavn! Check-in was fast and staff was helpful and friendly throughout my stay. My room was clean. A little small, but fit my needs just fine. 2 people with large suitcases would have had a hard time navigating. My room faced into the courtyard and was nice and quiet at night

The Hotel Bethel was just what we hoped for. The location could not be better for being in the city center. The room was simple, clean and very comfortable. The mattresses were comfy and we slept very well. The room was not on the street and so was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and generous. The staff could not have been nicer. Helpful, funny, and informative. I had occasion to communicate in advance twice and responses were quick and answered my questions. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely return.
