Property and room cleanliness is important. However, upon first inspection the bed sheets were stained and I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping on them. The inside shower curtain was dirty and it appeared high touch area such as light switches, door handles and wall surfaces were not cleaned regularly. As a solo traveler, I didn’t feel quite safe outside of the hotel and only felt safest in my room. Staff were nice and respectful.

A night in Colorado Springs

About myself as I should have read the previous more recent reviews. They were dead on. I'm not entirely sure how people are rating this a 10, it would barely make it 2. The neighborhood was dark in seedy, as was the parking lot. I had concerns that someone would have broken into my vehicle. Once walking inside the security door locks not working. When walking in the room the stench from likely the carpet permeated with dirt was pretty bad. Seeing that I'm ex-military I've slept in some pretty bad positions so as tired as I was I was not about to argue. Again, I blame myself for not taking the time to really examine the reviews. There's no way that anybody should have given this a 10. The carpet almost looked as if it was composed of skin. I couldn't walk on it barefoot, I used my shower shoes and never set foot on the floor. At least I didn't see any bugs.

All the rooms smelt like a mixture of urine and tobacco smoke. Although i paid a deposit to hold my room, the hotel and Expedia overbooked so we were not able to get the suite we needed. Debra worked hard to try to find us a room that was up to our standards. However, all the rooms were gross so we canceled our reservations and went to another hotel. The furniture looked like it was pulled out of a dumpster.

The lady at the front desk was practically asleep while helping me and took forever to check me in. She gave us keys that didn't work. Once our keys did work my daughter who was 10 went to the room to find an UNKNOWN man in our room who scared her. The lady at the front said I'll just give you back your money and you can go somewhere else instead of trying to make things right. DO NOT STAY THERE!!!!!

Definitely not a great experience. I booked a "suite" close to two months in advance, and the day before our trip they called to say it wasn't available. They gave us two adjoining rooms instead. Both rooms had sticky floors and lifting carpet, even though one room's carpet was clearly newer than the other. Both rooms smelled funny and the hallways seemed to have a different weird smell everytime we walked into them. Less than 30 minutes after check-in, a woman who was obviously under the influence of something knocked on our door multiple times and hid out of view of the peephole. Police made at least one appearance both nights we were there. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was edible, but that's all I can comment on positively. Spend a little more and stay anywhere north of 24.

You obviously get what you pay for. I will say, I recently stayed at a Motel 6 that was nicer or more well kept. Definitely check the surroundings where you'll be staying. A lot of homeless/transitional living. The pot smoking in the entrance areas by customer & employees should be enforced with the 25 feet away from building code.

I get it this place didn't cost 120 bucks but FFS. the folks up front were nice and the breakfast zone lady was nice and they did have the waffle thing. but how much would it really set them back to add a second nightstand or at least make some effort to abate the overwhelming smell of dog urine? i wa so exhausted it was out of the question to try to cancel so i tried to ignore the stench but as i lay there regretting my frugality i noticed a dried green loogie on the wall right at head level. how would such a repugnant affront to the senses go unnoticed? the room was filthy an depressing. the door to the back parking lot was posted as broken, with patrons instructed to go around, but it was also broken so as to remain open all night. the website said the room slept three but that was a joke and they couldn't provide a cot. definitely the stain on an otherwise lovely road trip. PS i can't believe i forgot to mention the pillows. how much would it really set them back to get some reasonable pillows? pretty sure they scored these paper thin panty liners from a prison dumpster
