We stayed here 5 nights while visiting family. Area is quiet and felt safe. This area of town is between Old Colorado City and Mantou Springs, so not a busy area and walking to eat or shop is not real close. The property is older but well kept. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, although the room towels were thin and small and should be updated. The breakfast buffet was basic and could have used some pastries and juice. Only option was coffee, milk and water. Staff was not always visible at the desk but nearby.

Only bad thing was breakfast variety has gone downhill. No juice for kids, no bagels, bread was out, milk was out and guy working in there had attitude about having to get more things out and took forever. Otherwise, pool and hut tub superb as always and we got to see the bear that was around out back while we were there.

Hot tub wasn’t working but that’s just my luck. Hasn’t worked the last 3 hotels I’ve stayed in. Other than that, everything was fine. Breakfast was your typical weird wet scrambled eggs, sausage patties, yogurt cereal…. Over all, good stay

The room was excellent - clean, updated, spacious, and quiet. Really like the shower. The hotel was conveniently located to the major attractions. Would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to book it the next time we go to Colorado Springs.

Not the best stay

Very rude lady at the front desk, was making false claims against my child saying we can’t stay on an upper floor as she would run around and make noise, my child is 15 she is not a toddler and for the hotel to say that is very bad, the rude lady at the front desk apparently quit her job the next day but it’s still not good enough, the only good things were the rooms were newly refurbished and the lady at the front desk the next day but that was it, breakfast was very poor aswell, no juice, no decaf coffee which is very very bad, apparently they are getting rid of the breakfast but it is still no excuse.

The hotel, by itself, was a standard days inn. Everything was clean and worked. The problem was with our next door neighbor, who decided to carry on loud telephone calls at all hours of the night. Too bad this hotel is the most economical one in the area, as that tends to attract a lower class of people.
