Never ever go here again. Rundown..dirty..no maid service..had to ask for clean towels daily. Property reeks of Marijuana. Our room smelled like cigarettes. Tv didnt work. Phone line cut..outlets didnt work. Just a rundown mess

Do not stay at Super 8 O'Fallon

I booked a studio suite that was supposed to have a kitchenette in it but was informed only after check in that the facility didn't have that type of room. The second floor of the facility smelled musty. The floors in my room were nasty. One of the beds was broken down in the middle and was very uncomfortable. The staff was rude. The only positive thing about this facility was the breakfast.

Diamond in the rough

This is a diamond in the rough. Now if your done high fluting person you might find more problems. But for the price is amazing beds great, allot of pillows, refrigerator in room. There is a washer and be dryer on site. And the outdoor pool looked amazing.. just still to cold to partake, there was some under the refrigerator gunk but other than that decently clean. Fun rose wash rags and crimped tp. Easy on and off interstate

Front desk people were nice. Room, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while and there was moldy smell in the room. Carpet in the hallway was soaked, and had a funky smell.

If you can't afford any other option..

If you really need to travel on the cheap, splurge just this once on one of the other hotels nearby. Tucked away off the highway, there isn't much foot traffic passing by, but if there was they would have no trouble getting in through the side doors that are always open. The room conditions were poor; TV remote not working, dresser drawer was off track and broken, floors dirty, and A/C non-responsive. But the cherry on top was the dried blood on the sheets and pillow cases. I don't typically check for bed bugs, however, I felt compelled to at this place. The pillow cases were oversized and tucked in, which I found strange, so I untucked them. That's when I found some reddish-brown spots on one of them. While checking and moving each pillow, I found some more blood on the sheets at the head of the bed, as if someone had a cut on their finger and kept it under the pillow at night. I told the front desk, and they offered to change the sheets, but at that point I had already repacked my car and booked a place just down the street. The price difference was close to $100 which is why I went the cheaper route initially. Moving forward, I will work extra hours to make up the difference and avoid another motel disaster on the next trip.

They never once came to the room for trash or towels even though I would see them in the hall. At one point I went to the desk to ask for towel the guy didn't have any in the cabinet they have and told me he would have some sent to our room and took my room number but nobody ever brought any. I had to daily go ask for towels and ended up having to tie up my trash and put it outside my room. It was at one point there for 2 days. I had to go get a broom of my own to sweep the room... as well as proppimg aspoon in the drain of sink so it'll drain. Except the last day the gravy at the breakfast was watery like as if they added water to make it last longer.

Never in our wildest dreams did we picture the rooms this motel offered. When we sent photos of this room home, our families thought we were at someone's house! The room was gigantic and stunning! The staff made our stay perfect, they were very attentive and continuously made us smile. The breakfast was super and included my sister's favorite biscuits and sausage gravy! I wish my biscuits were that light and fluffy! if you are in the area, you have to spend at least one night here!

So, our trip went Route 66 on the way and another route on the way back, but this Motel sat almost at the crossroads! So this was the only motel we revisited. It was amazing here, and when we walked in, the girl at the desk gave us a huge smile and said, "You're Back!" That makes so much difference when you travel. Being a Super 8, we did not expect the rooms we had, but they were huge and may I say luxurious!
