The property is lovely and completely enjoyable. I love the historic aspects except for one: The bed springs are probably original to the first purchase by the astronauts. They are LOUD. Everytime you get in or out of the beds they CREAK. The beds are comfortable. Just loud.

I was worried when I read other reviews. You do get what you pay for. This hotel was much cheaper than most of the other options so it is not waterfront and doesn’t have some of the amenities other hotels do. I enjoyed that it was walkable to Lori Wilson beach. It did have a pool. It wasn’t the cleanest hotel I have been too (I had to wear flip flops in the showers) but the beds were comfy and appeared clean. I would stay again based on the price as I personally stay again

The bathroom was worn down and not clean. My family refused to shower in the shower it was so gross. It could use a remodel and everything needs a proper cleaning. Do not recommend and glad we only had to stay a couple of hours.
