The staff was nice and professional, but the place is just too old. Our room though "clean", things were broken, stained or rusted. If you can endure a cheap night if you are going on a cruise the next day, then perhaps it MAY be worth it. But otherwise I would not recommend.

until repairs are made do NOT stay here.

Sadly, the room condition was in terrible repair. The front desk help was wonderful (as a highlight of our sad trip) and did there best. The phone in our room did not work at all; the bathroom toilet seat is terribly loose; the rugs have some terrible stains; the bathroom had slash marks in the walls and wallpaper; no complimentary water bottles in the room; the morning of our leaving the whole elevator system in the hotel was completely broken and dysfunctional; essentially, the place needs an overhaul. If this were done I think the place would be nice.

Loved the location, we were staying before we got on our cruise and the location was a great distance from the port, easy to find, waking distance to several shops and restaurants. Along with walking distance to the beach! The only complaint I have is the parking was very limited/tight and the elevator was broke. I will definitely be back for future stays.

Filthy Roach hotel!! Don’t do it!

Horrible! Filthy! Pot smoking in the hallways! Had to ask for another room. Broken air conditioners, holes in blankets and curtains. Food splattered on furniture. Carpets filthy. So bad that our feet left black footprints in the tub!! Go to the new room and couldn’t breathe because they sprayed something just before giving it to us. Not much better than the first and woke up to a cockroach in the tub!!! Other people staying there were saying the same thing. The “managers” said “they just do the desk” which is why I was telling her! Said she’s seen the rooms and that they’re doing a re model in 6 years. Well good for them. The manager the next morning said she told them about the cockroaches. Was so tired from a 20 hour drive we put our jackets over our faces to sleep to block out the spray, would’ve been better to sleep on the streets! No vending machines. Just a total hole! Have nothing good to say. Worst experience EVER!!!!!!

Highly disappointed in this experience, booked 1 night before cruise while traveling with family for mother-in-laws 75th bday. Checked out shortly after arrival & moved a few blocks to Hilton Garden Inn due to finding a cockroach in our room, while also not impressed by room stench, filthy carpets, hole behind loose baseboard with wiring running to outlets along floor & around doorway. Can honestly say this is the first negative review I’ve ever posted. As the spouse of a 28yr military veteran, we’ve stayed in countless hotels during our many moves including tropical climates such as Hawaii/Tampa without issue. Have made several attempts to contact management for refund, yet continue to get the run-around. It’s worth spending a little more money for a good nights sleep & some peace of mind.

Mold on the shower ceiling and carpet was awful! The location was good. A block from the beach and across from an Italian Restaurant. Several fast food restaurants too. So many small issues with non working lamp, non working electric sockets, etc

Room did not have remote controls for either TV. Desk help brought up a remote. No wash clothes in the bathroom. Both electric receptacles in the bedroom did not work properly. The plug on the lamps beside the bed were loose when plugged in.

Guys… you have to include a blanket in a hotel room. I used a towel. And carrying my 60lb suitcase up to the top floor in a disgusting stairwell was really unpleasant. Also, why did my room smell like dollar store air freshener and penicillin?
