Coal Creek Vacation Packages

I room was cleaner than last weekend but we stayed two nights and house cleaning didn’t come the day we were there. I tried to call the office to get the room vacuumed atleast but I received no answer. Then I sent a message because I have a young child so it’s hard to go to the office. The room also smelt like weed the first night which was bearable. Then, when we returned from being out the second day it smelt like someone smoked in the room. Which I also tried to call about. Then I messaged about that too. Still received no response.

Such a comfortable stay and such beautiful property

The elevator was out of service and front desk didn’t inform us at check in. Then she put us on the third floor. When we figured it out we asked for a room on the first floor but was able to get one on the second floor. I don’t understand why they’d expect the guests to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The shower curtain had black mold on the lower portion. The bathroom floor hasn’t been cleaned behind the doors in a while. The bathroom doors were dingy around the knobs. The room door was open when we arrived. I’m quite sure I won’t stay in a La Quinta again due to the bad experience.

It was noisy and homeless people everywhere

Clean and comfy! The breakfast was decent, I enjoyed the oatmeal and the coffee selection, the small market was convenient, the staff was friendly. The rooms were nice and clean and beds were comfy! I couldn’t ask for more. The swimming pool was on the small side but my kiddo still enjoyed it. The exercise room was also nice but small but I wouldn’t expect much more. Parking was easy. It was also near a lot restaurants and shops also close to the highway so it was easy to get to.

The staff was difficult to find when needing something for the room. I was in an ADA room the door was to the room was very heavy. Had trouble getting it open.

Very nice vintage hotel with upgraded bathrooms. Parking is across the street in an open lot. Lots of eateries and shops within walking distance. Hotel restaurant is good but pricey. Comfy beds!
