For anyone spending time at Cleveland Clinic — this is the place to stay. IHG Intercontinental Suites cares deeply about their guests. They listen. They support. They assist. They give empathy and compassion when you need it, after long days of appointments. Nina, Jennifer, V, Guylan, Chris, and the two additional desk attendants provided superior care. All of housekeeping was exceptional. Every inch of the facility is spotless. The rooms are perfectly appointed. The beds the best of comfort. The food and drinks in the restaurant wonderful. First night, one of us had to step in the shower and found out no hot water. 50 degree weather, cold water shower is not a good idea. We went down to the front desk, the response we got was that they knew and emergency maintenance was called. It took them almost a whole day to fix the hot water. It was not a pleasant experience.

I just feel the cost was way to high I wanted the accessibility to the clinic so I paid it, I paid 370.00 to sleep 12 hours in a room. Because of procedure I could not eat anything, just drink. Then with all the tipping and no free breakfast my bill went over 400,00 because I paid for my fried who was the driver.. Too much for too short a time. The facility is very nice.

Very nice bathroom amenities. However many rooms are not suites. The building is very old and they control the temps in your room. They either turn the AC or Heat on. Our room was warm. We turned it to 65 degrees to cool and it never cracked 77. In fact it kept getting warmer. They brought us a fan because even opening the window somehow didn’t work and the fan was super loud and blew warm air. The food was decent. Beds were comfortable. However this is not really on the level of an intercontinental hotel. It’s just old and sad. They refunded me the last night and we were walked to the Holiday inn next door which was far superior. They are going to renovate at some point and boy it needs it. Even the menu for room service was quite basic. But what we got was yummy

Room was terribly warm

The room was incrediby warm. There was not a way to completely turn off the heat, nor could you turn on the air conditioning. The suggestion was to open my window. They were nice enough to send up a box fan. When I checked out, and I complained, I was told that is just how it goes with their HVAC system.

Nice large suite, pricey parking

Our suite was large and comfortable, it did stay a little too warm in the room and the thermostat wouldn’t adjust below a certain point. Parking is expensive.

Overall can’t imagine what happened to the Intercontinental brand. This would normally be a two to maybe three star hotel. I would hope that it’s about to start a full renovation.
