Wonderful hotel. Friendly staff. Great restursnts and bars.

Literally the best place to stay in all of Durango even for short stays. I always come here and had to go to a different hotel one time and immediately regretted not staying at The Leland House. It’s central to everything fun in downtown and so nice you might not want to even leave your room.

Hot springs just for guests is very nice.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years and have been very happy. The last two years that we have stayed the service has been lacking. If you're staying only one night you're fine. If you stay for more than one-night, good luck in getting clean towels, your trash emptied or your bed changed. The excuses we have been given is that they don't have enough towels because people take them, or enough housekeeping staff. I will say that the housekeeping staff work very hard. These people are doing everything they can to get the job done. I commend them for all their hard work. I do blame management. We were told by local management that it wasn't Wyndham Hotel's policy to service your room each day. If that is true, I'm very disappointed with the Wyndham brand.

Couple of issues to be aware of: - The bed has a heavy metal frame with sharp edges and corners that stick out past the edge of the mattress. Easy to bump into it when walking around in the room, leading to bruised legs. - Could not get the TV to work properly. - The on-site restaurant no longer serves any type of alcohol, despite the website saying it does.

Great value and location in downtown area.
