Overall it was a beautiful experience. I had a corner suite on a high floor, and the views of Lake Michigan were absolutely stunning truly a highlight of my stay. The check-in process was smooth and the staff at the front desk were incredibly warm and welcoming. However, I did have one unfortunate experience that put a damper on an otherwise perfect stay. About two hours before checkout, while I was still in the room getting ready (having just gotten out of the shower), a room service staff member entered without me hearing her knock likely due to the music I had playing. Not only did this feel like a significant intrusion on my privacy, but she also began throwing away my drinks that were still on the table. When I confronted her, she apologized and explained that she had been told I had already checked out. While I understand mistakes happen, it was disappointing that she continued clearing items even after seeing I was clearly still in the room. It was a frustrating and awkward situation that left a negative impression at the end of an otherwise lovely visit. With better communication between departments and a bit more sensitivity to guests’ privacy, this stay would have been perfect. I truly loved everything else about the hotel and hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

Absolutely loved my stay at The Sable Hotel at Navy Pier! The location is unbeatable — safe, quiet, and incredibly walkable. I felt completely at ease exploring the area, whether it was a peaceful morning stroll along the pier or a late-night walk after dinner. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and offers stunning views of the water and skyline. You’re just steps away from great shopping and a variety of dining options, both on the pier and nearby in downtown Chicago. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a sit-down meal, there’s something for everyone. I highly recommend The Sable for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay in the heart of the city!

Chose it for its quiet location and it didn't disappoint. Great views of the Chicago skyline and the lake. Rooms are not huge--there was no desk in mine--but the bathroom and the shower were great. A fabulous HVAC system that kept the temperature as desired and was quiet. This is clearly a fairly new property and it shows. Nice Spanish restaurant on site.

For Father's Day, my son and I decided to take my husband to Chicago. I was looking a location and found Sable. The young lady that checked in was the same one that checked us out. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The room was nice especially the view of the lake and the shower. I would rent a room in the future but it would be nice if small refrigerator and a microwave was included.

After staying here, there's no other place in Chicago I'd rather stay than the Sable. Plus, you get a free ride on the Ferris wheel and a discount at the restaurant below the hotel. Amazing experience, highly recommended!

The location is great for Navy Pier and downtown lake events. The rooms are good size and offer great views. We found some confused with the elevator bays. There are 3 of them that access the 3 buildings so make sure to listen to which one to take for your room. Parking is expensive but comparable to other city hotels. Lots of restaurants and activities within walking distance. If your main purpose is to be in city center this may not be the hotel for you because it will take some walking and/or public transportation to manuveur out of the navy pier area. If you plan to stay near the lakefront this would be a great place to stay with access to beaches via walking path, museums via water taxi or walking. The Sable definitely gives you the vacation feel.
