What a beautiful hotel. Sadly we missed our connection at ORD and the clerk at front desk saw how upset my daughter was and made everything better. He didnt have to do that, but it meant a lot to my daughter and made her mood better. Thanks

Made same day reservation through Expedia during unexpected overnight layover. Appreciated free hotel shuttle with online tracker and friendly driver. Check-in was quick. Property in generally good condition; there was some tape along the corner of a wall in the hall on the fourth floor as a makeshift repair. Room was clean with adequate amenities and ample outlets. Only complaint is that in-room coffee maker was not working. Lobby cafe had good selection; a little pricey but certainly not more than airport concessions. Checkout was quick and easy, as was the return trip to the airport with the free shuttle.

Food was excellent, service was wonderful. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. However, warning to those who are older or, like me, have knee issues. I was assigned a room in the tower and the bathroom had a kindergarten size toilet that was so low I had difficulty sitting and getting up. If not for the vanity being so close and having a bar across the front, I would have needed someone to help me up. They have rooms with regular toilets as I have stayed in one of those rooms before. If you have mobility issues, be sure to ask for a standard room that is not in the tower or a handicap room. I was also a little disappointed that none of the rooms had hot tubs and there was no pool. Don't want to discourage anyone from staying there. It is a beautiful property, wonderful staff and good food and drink. Thank you

Beautiful hotel, beds very comfortable, rooms very clean, however I had one major problem. At this hotel they did not take CASH. It was not stated on the site or in person when I arrived. I found out when I went with my companions to eat dinner. The bill came and I tried to pay in cash and could not. I was told I had to charge it to my room. Luckily I had money to move around but what if I had not the money on my card because I brought cash. The waitress brushed me off when I asked about this policy. Then I went to the front desk to ask where this policy was stated. With an attitude she pointed to a 4x5 sticker on the back of her monitor that apparently I was supposed to know was there. It would have been so polite if the hotel would tell their clients about this policy before or at the time of arrival. If a hotel have a policy that involves MY MONEY, I want to know up front so I can adjust accordingly and not be caught off guard after I eat a meal and e need to pay for it.
