We checked into our room and not long after being in there we started to smell extremely strong cigarette smoke. We were on the 7th floor, and it was coming through the vents. It made us so nauseous and my friend has asthma. I asked if they had smoking rooms and was told no, but it was so bad! Gave us a headache and all

I stayed at the Hyatt Centric for two nights. It was a good choice for an affordable price and while not in the heart of all the action, it’s certainly in a walkable location, very close to Sears Tower. The rooms were clean, and decent sized and the staff was friendly. They have a pretty cool rooftop bar as well to where you can take in the views of the surrounding area.
