My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown Riverwalk was average — nothing particularly memorable, but nothing major to complain about either. The location is definitely the highlight: it’s conveniently situated near the Riverwalk, Millennium Park, and several restaurants and shops, which made exploring the city easy. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. The bed was on the firm side — not uncomfortable, plenty of pillows. Basic amenities like a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker were appreciated. Elevators were odd; a lot of time was spent waiting for them. Staff interactions were fine; some were friendly and helpful, others seemed indifferent. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Overall, if you’re looking for a no-frills, centrally located place to crash while you’re out and about in Chicago, this hotel does the job. The location is perfect.

Great location. We didn't see hotel so I called. Girl was great staying on ph with me to get us there. Friendly front staff. Valet parking charges to your room, just fyi. When we were going out to breakfast, I asked a maid for 2 more towels & kleenex; I said to her, you don't need to clean/make bed. Came back & everything was cleaned & we got what we needed too. The Yolk is walking distance & a must for breakfast. Awesome food & service! 7 Eleven across street from Hilton so handy. Recommend this Hilton.
