My husband and I stayed in mid-June for the 1st Annual Midwest Convention (held onsite), and while the event was great, the hotel’s accessibility and amenities were seriously lacking. There was insufficient parking for wheelchair users, which created immediate challenges. My husband is in a wheelchair, and I have a back issue, so this matters. There was no microwave in our room, and I had to call the front desk just to find out there were only two microwaves in the entire hotel, both located in the lobby. With a full hotel and many guests, this was completely impractical—especially for those with mobility concerns. Worse, the elevators malfunctioned, leaving us stuck on the 13th floor. If there had been an emergency, we would’ve had no safe way down. That’s not an inconvenience—that’s a safety risk. This hotel must do better to support guests with disabilities. Accessibility is not optional. It’s essential.

Good stay for the money

Overall our stay was great. Amenities were good, bed was comfortable, room was clean and spacious. Our only complaint was the dirty dishes left in the hallway outside of the room next door. We were there for three days, dirty dishes were in the hall before we checked in and still there when we checked out. Not a huge deal but knowing housekeeping had picked up other items in the hall and still left those was slightly disgusting in our eyes.

Beds were super comfortable and bathroom amenities plentiful. Great location with shops and food. My only concern was the entrance to parking and the lack of communication that you could not enter from the main entrance. We got caught in a bottleneck with cars turning around and with the shuttle van that was a little stressful.
