The stay was great, food was good and plenty of it, the only downside was the size of the bathroom I would say it was compact But having said that the spa made up for it, we were there twice a day and showered there.

Great hotel! Would stay again

Great location 5 min walk to the shops etc with staff who are really friendly and helpful. Large gym and soa facilities Air con would make the hotel so much better as the room was so hot- fans are provided but they make little difference Buffet breakfast is a great start to the day!

The hotel is a lot more basic than the website would suggest. there may ne better rooms over the gym area, but the rooms in the main building are dated, over heated and basic.

Wouldnt stay again

I booked 3 business class rooms and only one was like the picture shown on website. One room especially was really bad. The bed mattress was in a terrible state with broken springs. When we asked at reception to move us they said they didnt have any more rooms except the deluxe which was another 200 pounds and had to be kept for emergencies. We said couldnt they use our room for emergencies instead, the reply was we cant because the beds broken. So ok for us to use but not in a so called emergency. Had to put up with it the whole break which was for my daughters birthday. Breakfast was ok. Bar meal was bad. I must say though that apart from two all the staff were lovely.

The hotel,staff and service was excellent but the room was tired.The widow lock was broken and the shower over the bath didn't work.Due to the weather and no air conditioning the room was unbearably hot. The fan was broken which they did replace but it was still faulty and made that much noise we couldn't use at night. The Spa and facility's were excellent and also the breakfast. Would I stay again, not in summer due to no AC and probably not until I know the rooms have been upgraded. For the price I think you can find better.

The hotel is walking distance from the centre and this is the reason i booked it. Its about 10 mins walk. There are a lot of restaurants. Its between a residential area and google had trouble finding. Parking was difficult to find and there is a £12/day charge for parking which they take when you check in. Hotel was clean. Had a bar and restaurant (i didnt use either) There is a lift. Breakfast was ok.

Hotel is in a great spot and the room overlooked the canal which was lovely. Really enjoyed the breakfast which was free and staff were very helpful. Only 2 small issues and they were only becuase it was so hot....no air con and no fridge in the room. Wouldnt

Lovely hotel don’t go when it’s hot

Lovely hotel but if you go when it’s hot you are going to regret it the room has no air con and we were dripping with sweat it was an over not great when you want to get ready to go to a christening honestly don’t ….
