Great location next to Event Center. We were there for a dance competition..great breakfast and large eating area. Small elevators but made it work. Great walkable area

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Des Moines Downtown
Everything was just ok. Nothing outstanding. Only thing horrible was breakfast both days served spoiled milk. After notifying the staff they argued and said the milk couldn't be bad because it wasn't past the expiration date. When milk smells rotten and is chunky I don't care what the date says.
