Housekeeping only runs every other day, which isn’t terrible in its own right. But no one told us on your cleaning day, if you don’t take “do not disturb” off the door before 11, your room will not be cleaned. 4 nights without new towels or emptied trash bins is a less that ideal stay.

The room was very spacious. The bathroom was huge. Loved having a balcony to sit on in the morning. The neighborhood just smelled like weed. Parking was convenient but you have to pay for it.

The room was loud...you could hear everything...sneezing, coughing, walking, doors, etc. Our room was the last room on the bottom floor with I believe a garbage area on the other side and constant blood noise! The room had a perfume strong smell with mold smell as well...so strong made you sick and get a headache because you could not get any sleep.

It is good value for the price. Rooms are dark and lacks good lighting. Only a few lamps. No ceiling lights at all. Room is cleaned only every other day, includes changing of towels.that is a big surprise! Definitely no room service- u have to go down to lobby to get shower caps or anything you need. Staff is very helpful and friendly. View of river is beautiful. Parking on the street is available and cheap.

We stayed here on a busy weekend. When we arrived, we waited for several minutes to be checked in since there was no one at the desk. There was only one hotel representative for check in despite how busy it was that weekend. We were switched to a room with double beds with a handicap accessible bathroom which had a walk in shower without a longer shower curtain. Water was everywhere with each shower and had to use bath towel to mop the floor with each shower. Bathroom fan was not working which appeared to be causing mold to grow on the walls inside the bathroom over time. Pool was closed for repairs on our third night there so we had to go to the sister property next door to use their pool. We did inform the hotel staff about the bathroom issue. The best they could do was provide us with more towel since we couldn't switch rooms as they were sold out. The tables in the dining area could be cleaned throughout the breakfast hours as they were sticky with syrup, etc. Overall the hotel was clean and quiet despite how many people were staying there. Parking was convenient.

Very easy to get to from the interstate. The river walk is right out the front door. It was a quick walk to many awesome restaurants and the kids science museum.

Not sure i would stay again

The hotel was nice. We had 2 issues. The breakfast supply did not keep up with demand. They also didn't do a good job of cleaning tables after people were done. Our biggest issue was the parking. Hotel.com said parking was available. If it said the price ($20/night) I missed it. This reminds me of resort fees (bait and switch). I want to know what its going to cost me before i book. I understand taxes, but I'm not sure i would stay here again because of it. Let me know up-front!!!

IA Cubs Fan

Enjoy how close it is for Iowa Cubs’ games. Disappointed that hot tub was broken but pool was wonderful - very comfortable temperature. Breakfast was good.
