**Hampton Inn Mooresville, NC - Disappointing Experience** My recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Mooresville, North Carolina, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The check-in process was particularly frustrating. Despite using the app to check in beforehand, I was still required to visit the front desk to present my ID and credit card for incidentals. After a long day of driving, this extra step felt unnecessary and cumbersome, as I had assumed the app check-in would streamline the process. The hotel itself is in dire need of updates. The lobby and hallways showed clear signs of wear, with ripped and torn carpets in multiple areas. The ceilings appeared neglected, with visible damage from what seemed like a past flood that hadn’t been properly addressed. Most concerning was the condition of the bathroom in my room—the tub was noticeably unclean, which made for an uncomfortable stay. While the staff was polite, these issues significantly detracted from the overall experience. The hotel’s outdated facilities and poor maintenance make it hard to recommend. I hope management addresses these concerns to improve future guest experiences.

Well rested after my stay

The room was very comfortable and spacious, the beds were very soft. I enjoyed the breakfast each morning. There are a couple restaurants within walking distance, plenty of parking at the hotel, and overall a very good stay.

Probably the rudest person to ever check me in. In fact I was hesitant to even leave a comment out of fear. The room smelled like dog. When I did voice my concern the person who called me was the person who checked me in. One positive note housekeeping and grounds were super nice and made sure to say hi to me whenever they saw me.

Overall, this was a great hotel to stay at. The rooms were nice, the breakfast was awesome, and the staff was very polite. If you look close, you can see there's some lipstick on a pig in some spots of the rooms. Wallpaper peeling, rusty hinges, etc. But it wasn't so bad that it detracted from the overall stay.
