The location was pretty good, safe, and readily accessible from the freeway. I was there for the Iowa State fair. The price was really good compared to hotels that were close to the fair. The hotels within a few blocks of the fair cost about three times more. The hotel is within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and shopping centers. The only negative thing I would probably say is that they did not have enough ice cream in the freezer. Also, there’s no kitchenware or utensils. They also advertised a breakfast you could get in room service, but apparently, for some reason it was canceled and I don’t know if that was temporarily or if they just canceled it altogether. I would still recommend this hotel for people that are traveling.

This is the nicest LaQuinta I have ever stayed in! Located in a quiet area. The building seemed very new. Parking was easy. Buffet breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Love the history of the building Parking is challenging but worth figuring out compared to 40.00 valet

The bathtub was not clean. We asked to change to another room. Staff did not hesitate to move us to another room.

Nice place to stay. It has the basics. It is clean and the staff are very helpful. No real complaints.
