If you are looking for relaxing and enjoying of nature the location is perfect. The hotel is old but clean. Views of our room was amazing as we choose sea view. Breakfast buffet is good. Free shuttle from hotel to canter of Sorrento is really good but don’t forget to book it in reception.

Location is very best.

The hotel was convenient located near the amalfi center. With a bus stop very close should you need to take the bus to transport your self there. It is also a 20 min walking distance down hill. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The only downside is that it does not have a restaurant if you rather stay in your hotel. However, does offer breakfast set and has a small bar with light snacks. Overall, would recommend this hotel!

Hotel was excellent. Great location, very clean and service was spectacular. You will not be disappointed staying as this hotel. We were looking for a smaller boutique hotel in close proximity to the center of town and this hotel was perfect. The gentlemen who handled the breakfast in the morning went above and beyond to make you feel special. Every breakfast was cooked to order and the coffee was brewed a cup at a time. Amazing. We will stay here again on our next trip to Capri. Cheers. Rob and Kayty.

The room was very clean, Breakfast was not great! There was very little choice, this was the 3rd hotel that I had stayed in during my trip and the worst Breakfast..you had to ask the member if staff for more coffee and it felt like you were imposing on them. The hotel itself is lovely but the area is very rough. Every cafe I went into advised me to put my bag in front of me and look out for pick pockets.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here. The facility is beautiful and clean. Because the hotel is small, the staff is able to go above and beyond for you. They offer free shuttles to popular areas on the island and free breakfast which is great as well. Capri is fairly easy to get around on by taxi so I didn’t mind the location not being in the city center.

The hotel is simply stunning, with breathtaking views over Positano and the Amalfi Coast — honestly, the kind of view that doesn’t even look real. The location is perfect: close enough to easily walk into the heart of Positano, yet peaceful and relaxing once you’re back at the hotel. The property itself is beautiful, full of charm and character, and every little corner feels special. Our room was gorgeous, impeccably clean and comfortable, and waking up to that incredible view every morning was something we’ll never forget. The pool and terraces overlooking the sea are absolutely spectacular, and having direct access down toward the beach made the experience even better. The staff truly made our stay exceptional. Everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely attentive. The service felt effortless and personal without ever being intrusive. Breakfast with that view, drinks by the pool, watching the sunset over Positano… everything about Marincanto felt like the perfect Italian dream. We absolutely loved our stay and would return without hesitation. If you’re looking for a beautiful, romantic and truly memorable place to stay in Positano, Marincanto is worth every star. Five stars simply aren’t enough. 🇮🇹✨
