Everything about this stay was easy - from check-in to checkout. The front desk staff were very helpful, the room was clean and the bathroom was nicer than many in higher end hotels I've stayed in. Would definitely stay again.

room was good nice, bed were comfortable, check in was easy and parking out the front. 10/15 minute walk to the main area in canmore. there was some dogs barking in other rooms which we could hear, but the front desk advise they had contact the owners and is stopped shortly after. would recommend staying at this hotel

We had a great experience from the moment we entered. Front desk staff smiled at us every time we went in or out. Room was large and clean comfortable. It was close to multiple restaurants. I’d definitely stay there again.

Property was clean and relatively new. You could hear every door down your hallway close. Very loud doors. They were also painting the hallway below our room so access was different. It was ok but would prefer the outside door not be propped open and unlocked 24/7.

We always enjoy staying at the Northwinds when we visit Canmore. The beds are comfy, facilities clean, and we’ve always had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room. This time around, we had an issue with our TV working. After a couple of calls and a visit to the front office, someone came to fix the issue. There were also reno’s taking place, making for a strong smell of glue/paint in the halls and stairways of our wing of the hotel. We were only sent a text about the reno’s the day before our reservation, not giving us the opportunity to reserve elsewhere without penalty.
