Traveled with family and two small children, age 2 and 5. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The food at all restaurants and amazing. Food truck and food by the pool is also great. The breakfast buffet is also outstanding. The spa my husband used was beautiful. The shows at night were very entertaining for adults and children. The carousel was fun for young children. The kids club was so nice for kids ages 5 and up. But the best of all was the staff, outstanding service. Very attentive, nice and professional. Our bell boy, Adrian who walked us up to our room on day one and walk us to our car on our last day was so nice. Lastly, Rosa and Ada who were staff at the lobby were the sweetest and most kindest. Remembered our names and were so nice to my little boys. Every chance they get they offered drinks and asked how everything was going. Also the staff by the pool are very fast with drinks and food. They helped out with finding chairs to sit and obtain umbrella for our kids. 10/10 hotel all due to the staff and food. Food is very important to me. Everything was clean, turn down service was impeccable. Only negative which really the hotel can’t control is the beach, unusable due to seaweed and rocky. Also when taking a shower the water smelled bad. Would definitely come back and will recommend to anyone traveling with kids.

We had an amazing stay at hotel Garza Blanca. Fantastic facilities and very kind staff. The only criticism I have is the room set up. There needs to be a barrier or a door where the bath is placed. Some privacy is needed even if you know the other person/people

The hotel is modern, clean, and the food at the Asian specialty restaurants was genuinely excellent. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. Service was consistently slow—poolside food often took up to two hours, and unless you tipped significantly, staff rarely checked in. Most pool seating (especially near the main pools) were reserved for timeshare guests, leaving first-time visitors like us stuck in quiet, less desirable areas. Daily breakfast waits were 20+ minutes for a family of five, and rooms were frequently not cleaned or restocked unless we followed up multiple times. Staff also seemed to prioritize guests based on wristband color, which made us feel overlooked. Activities were very limited, and the beach was rocky with murky water—not suitable for snorkeling or paddle boats as advertised. We chose this resort expecting top-tier service and personalized attention but were very disappointed. Not recommended for families or groups—there are better hotels in the area at a lower price with much better value and service.

I liked the way they make you feel upon arrival. You’re greeted with champagne and a fresh coconut. Check in is a breeze and you also get A tour of your room and amenities. Food/restaurants are amazing and excellent service. Highly recommend rooftop Dao Chinese restaurant. This was our favorite, great service, ambience, food & dessert. There ate many pool areas just wish they had more cabanas available for non elite members. Also food & drinks ordered poolside take quite a while for it to arrive. As well as room service. Also beach areas has a lot of sargassum son definitely not the nicest beach but you’re close enough (boat ride away) from isla mujeres north beach which was clear blue water. Also highly recommend the snorkeling tour through the hotel. My daughter and I really enjoyed it. Overall great experience and would come back.

I loved the place but sevice wasnt so much, they forget about you some of the times, and the selling time share was a waste of our time and theyre very pushy, and when you say no to their time share sales they get upset like its mandatory for you to accept their offer.

The hotel was amazing we loved the view and the spaces. My kids were always happy to see the in-room snack bar stocked almost every day. They didn’t restock it the last 2 days and my kids were disappointed. The cleaning lady was very nice and she would always come check on us. The dining options weren’t great it’s almost impossible to make a reservation. One of the times I called concierge service to make a reservation I was told I could just show up and they would take us as walk in, we went to Blanca Blue to celebrate our 15yr anniversary with a nice dinner there and the ladies Lorena and the one that is always with her were rude and treated us with a very bad attitude when we told them we didn’t have a reservation, we were given a table but they just kept rolling their eyes and kept looking at us. Then we saw other this family that also didn’t have a reservation but just because they were Americans they were treated so much better and more welcoming. It was really disappointing to see that. I spoke to a lady at the pool about and she said they did the same thing to them several times. I am considering visiting Garza Blanca in Puerto Vallarta in the winter hopefully we won’t be treated like that again.

This was our second time staying at Garza Blanca Cancun, and once again, everything was amazing. The first time we came for our babymoon, and now we returned with our 2-year-old — and he had an absolute blast! From the exceptional service to the delicious food, every detail exceeded our expectations. The staff is warm and attentive, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the quality throughout the resort is top-notch. We’ve made beautiful memories here as a couple and now as a family. We can’t wait to come back again!
