This hotel has potential but needs some changes. I think this resort use to be Parnassus. When they say this is a family resort they mean it. There were kids all over and that means kids reaching into the food with their hands, laid back dress, kids spitting the water out of their mouths back into the pool, and taking up the service at the bar. I did have a beautiful experience at the spa but they don't have the sauna or the cold plunge yet as advertised. The rooms were okay but outdated cabinets and beds. There were some stains on the sheets as well. I found several roaches and had a rash so I hope it wasn't from the bed. The room view was amazing and so was the service at the Japanese restaurant and the Manhattan Deli. It was nice that you didn't have to make reservations but it some would be a wait. The buffet area was very hot and the food was bland and basic. It was limited vegetation and vegan options at the restaurants as well.The healthy food grab-and-go salads portions were super small and you had to ask for the dressings. The room service menu had very limited meal options and the drinks were bottom-shelf liquor. They stated the bottles sitting out aka name brands were for members only. Why have so many sitting out? Odd! It has potential but something was just off.

The property presents very well. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Once you past check in and stay for a little bit it starts to feel like a budget friendly place that locals vacation at. The food is average at best. There are options but not really, if that makes sense. There were several elevators down so me and my kids mostly walked down the stairs because waiting would take forever. We had an AC issue in our first room and they switched us the second night but we still couldn’t control the coolness of the AC. The water park consists of a few slides and one was down the entire trip. Honestly for the price and for a 3 day stay it was ok. The staff is very helpful and accommodating so they will listen and try to help but it is what it is.

This was meant to be a special, peaceful getaway with our baby—but it turned into the most heartbreaking and disappointing trip we’ve ever taken. It started with a bug in our first room, which forced us to switch right after arriving. The second room had a broken air conditioner that failed again that night. The cooler didn’t work either. With a baby, comfort isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity—and we didn’t have it. From Day 2 to Day 4, no one came to clean our room. Diapers and mess piled up, and we felt forgotten. It wasn’t until I finally sent a message that housekeeping showed up. We shouldn’t have had to ask for basic care. Then I was removed from a beach bed by staff, told it was for a “higher tier” guest—something never explained at booking or check-in. I wasn’t offered an upgrade or choice. Just told to move, in front of everyone. It was humiliating. The food was good, but drinks were a letdown—bland and limited. The pool bar was closed, and no one ever came around. It felt like we didn’t matter. We came here hoping to rest, make memories, and enjoy time as a family. Instead, we left feeling ignored, embarrassed, and exhausted. We won’t return—and I wouldn’t recommend this place to any family. It hurts to say this, but this trip left us heartbroken.

We had a great time at seadust resort. We were offered their infinity membership like every new visitor but we kindly declined and told them it wasn't for us and they left us alone. We arrived early so we had to wait till check-in time for the room,but were able to use all the facilities right away. The facilities were clean, the spa service was great as well. It's easy to Uber to additional locations or use public transport for a small fee. The resort itself shows its age and could use some updates however it is kept up well. The only downside was the beach as it was full of seaweeds and unusable.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed with several aspects of the experience. The rooms are in serious need of an update—the furniture is outdated and worn. Additionally, the TVs in the room didn’t work properly, which was frustrating. One major issue was the lack of air conditioning in the elevators, which made getting to and from the room uncomfortable, especially in hot weather. Dining at the hotel was also underwhelming. The food at the restaurants was average at best, and the long wait times made the experience even less enjoyable. Overall, the hotel has potential but needs significant improvements in both amenities and service to provide a better guest experience.

Property is literally falling apart with pieces coming off the the building. Water coming out the tub on the balcony was dirty looking and the glass behind was as well. The food was no better and rust everywhere. Will NOT RECOMMEND.

This property is a complete false advertisement on Expedia. I booked so many trips through Expedia to Mexico, and this property was an absolute shock upon arrival. The entire property is filthy, the pool is an absolute health hazard because of how dirty it is. The wait lines at the breakfast buffet are well over an hour, and the food is just terrible. My husband had to walk to Dominos everyday so our kids had food to eat, they basically survived on dominos pizza and snacks the entire trip. The other restaurants are also terrible, and the wait for those can be well over 2 hours. The property is extremely understaffed, which leaves many guests hungry and frustrated. We really wanted to cancel and book something cleaner and efficient nearby, but none of the rude staff members was willing to help. I cried every single day while there, because our entire holiday was ruined. The property has no A/C so if you ever wondered what the doors to hell felt like, just visit this resort, and you will know. The night of August 18th there was something terrible going on downstairs and it sounded like police sirenses for quiet some time. Than the night of August 19th the entire resort lost power, which led to panic amongst so many guests, who were just screaming and yelling around midnight. A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!!! Then, airport transfer also mever picked us up. I have more to write, but there is no more room. Expedia you need to check your properties before offering them as 4 stars!!!!!

Our "all-inclusive" resort experience was deeply disappointing and not at all what the photos online suggested. For the price, we expected a resort, not a rundown hotel. The lack of service started before we even arrived. The Expedia concierge, Ivan, never replied to my messages about booking tours. Once there, it was clear the property is not well-maintained. The lobby had noticeable holes in the ceiling. This was a shocking first impression. Broken elevators were a constant issue, and a strong, irritating moldy smell was present in common areas. The heat was unbearable everywhere, even in the ice cream shop, and the dusty "nightly performance" showroom felt more like a middle school auditorium than a proper venue. The food was consistently bland, and the restaurant service was painfully slow. To make matters worse, we were repeatedly pressured to join the "Infinity Luxury Travel" program, which felt like a cheap timeshare pitch that cheapened the entire vacation. The only bright spots were the staff, who were always kind, and the housekeeping team, who did an excellent job of cleaning our room. Overall, the hotel needs significant renovations and better management. The price we paid was not reflected in the quality of our stay, and we will not be returning.

We stayed at Seadust Cancun Family Resort and unfortunately left very disappointed. The overall atmosphere was unwelcoming—at times it felt like we were bothering the staff rather than being valued guests. Many employees seemed overworked and stretched thin, which made service inconsistent. The food was one of the biggest letdowns. Most of the buffet options were cold, repetitive, and lacking in flavor. The only restaurant we truly enjoyed was the steakhouse. For a family resort, we expected more variety and better quality. The property itself is in poor condition. Several areas have no air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable during the day. The elevators were constantly breaking down, making it difficult to get around, especially with a child. Some pool areas were dirty with visible black and green buildup, which looked like mold—very concerning for a family-friendly resort. We also felt pressured to sign up for their “Infinity Membership.” Once we declined, the friendliness and attentiveness from staff noticeably dropped. We were promised help with restaurant reservations, but none were actually made, so we had to check the list every single day just to see if we could get in. On the positive side, room service was good, and our room was cleaned daily, which we appreciated. However, this small positive was overshadowed by the many issues we experienced. Overall, the resort does not look like the pictures online and feels misleading compared to what is advertised.
