The property is truly beautiful and the family suite was very spacious and has an amazing view. I do have to say they definitely need to get softer pillows and work on the air conditioners. The hotel truly has potential. The problem was the staff and the service. Most staff was very rude and seem to be annoyed when you ask for assistance or have questions. No one smiles or greets you. The food was mediocre. You don’t have many options. To get reservations for dinner was impossible. The staff was denying dinner services to the guests giving them the buffet as the only option when the restaurants were nearly empty. Room cleaning service was not up to part. Definitely needs improvement in staff.

This resort has a beautiful location. Its beachfront and steps away form the beautiful ocean. With that said we did not have a food check in process. They said they’d let us know when our room was ready by 3 pm and they did not. We went to front desk at 5 and asked about our room, was told that it was ready. Said they don’t notify guests. We found cockroaches in our room the third night. My sister had to have rooms switched because AC wasn’t working and they wouldn’t have someone to fix it right away. It’s an all inclusive, our expectations for the food were not high however we on different occasions we found our chicken was raw and on a different occasion hair in my daughter’s food. There were more bumps along our stay but the ones mentioned were the top bad ones. The resort itself is pretty nice and again the location is great but keep in mind what you might experience along the way.

The buffet was the worst. We saw a cockroach in the lobby. We had to switch rooms, the cushions on the chairs were badly stained, the lampshade in the bedroom had rust color stains on it. Staff came into our room one day, to spray some chemical along the base. Had no idea what it was but was told they were praying for some sort of ant. We never saw any bugs in the room so I thought that was odd. We’ve come to Cancun for years and that was the first time that ever happened. Cleaning of the rooms was not great. We were always short of towels, They never gave clean coffee mugs after being used, never swept the floor, There was an ironing board but no iron. Quite quite a few of the Pool and beach chairs

Other than Juan Carlos’ assistance, I would have left. Check in staff attempted to short me change in pesos. AC was out in the room first two days. Buffet was unsanitary. The app did not offer restaurant reservations. Activities often canceled or late. Other than the great location to luxury shop, I’d recommend finding another place to stay.

We had a very relaxing time at Park Royal. The staff were very eager and happy to help us the entire week. Special shout out for Carla at the front desk as I asked her a million questions and she was always so patient and nice! Also the AC and the water pressure were great. It was a hot week and our room stayed icy cool. Thank you Park Royal Beach Hotel for a fantastic week!

The restaurants were hard to get into and the buffet was very limited for the amount of people. Staff were very nice but it looked like they were understaffed. The rooms were okay but the beds were horrible, very uncomfortable.

Didn't get any responses from maintenance when the air conditioner leaked and created a slip hazard in the room. When asked to get more towels and toilet paper they never brought the items up to the room after asking multiple times. I was not satisfied with the property and will not return their on another trip to Mexico.

We are a family of 6 persons we stayed 10 days , the oceon view the refreshing wind , the lots of activities for kids and adults , ( fire show, Magic show, band show and lots more …..) close to Isla mall lots of hard worker staff , our concierge was Juan Carlos was excellent helpful , fluent in English, the restaurants were great , kids had blast in the club with camping , bracelets ,cooking, and more , beach very clean and 2 life guards. Thank you will come back I enjoyed the spa with loubna and Jocelyne.

Food was subpar (if they hadn’t run out of food or plates). Lucky if wait staff checked on you a second time during meals. Our windows leaked when it rained which would lead to puddles on the floor. The patio doors rattled loudly when the wind blew (always). AC didn’t work well (one room stayed at 77F degrees. It also seemed very over crowded everywhere (dining rooms, beach, etc). Cabanas were not included unlike other all-inclusive resorts in Cancun that I’ve been to. Needless to say, I wouldn’t stay here again.
