I would say our overall stay was just fine. We didn't go on this trip with high expectations. It met our needs for a quiet, low key, do nothing getaway. If you are looking for more than Average then you should choose different. The hotel/resort is showing it's age but you can tell they are trying to do upgrades. Our room was less than desirable but we again chose the "cheaper" room when booking and that is what we got. I would not stay in 501-1 unless they can assure you it's been upgraded! I don't think they cleaned the pool once while we were there (5 nights) as there was lots of sand in the bottom and straws, leaves, etc floating around. Nothing gross and it didn't keep us out. We got there on Tues and the swim up bar didn't open until Friday which was disappointing. The staff was great - very friendly and accommodating. All in all - this was an average place to stay. We wouldn't recommend or not-recommend - just be aware you are getting average and you will be fine.

After our vacation in Tulum, my family and I missed our flight back to LA and ended up having to spend the night in Cancun. I didn’t want to stay at a mediocre motel so as not to ruin the impression of the entire vacation, so I went for something nicer. Gosh, was J pleasantly surprised by just how nice this place turned out to be! We stayed at the PH 2-bedroom, 2-story room, which my family thought was the nicest place they had ever stayed at! There were multiple balconies overviewing the beautiful Caribbean Sea. The staff was friendly and professional, everything we needed was within walking distance. Loved this place!

The property is in nwed of major updates for example it on has one electrical outlet, on shower door (water gets all over the floor. And the tub has only cool running water, which is very misleading.

The only issue i had was toilet flash keep running and i told receptionist but did not folow up my request and front doors frame was loose and also the next door when they open and closed the door make so much noise. Specially night time next door keep open and close the door in the middle of night and woke me up several times. Other than that was good all in all

Property is decently kept, some areas are worn (floor tiles, windows), room was clean, security on site 24/7, ocean view- gorgeous! Easy beach access, plenty of walkable areas for food or entertainment, local bus transportation is available too. Staff can improve on their friendliness, but overall, great stay.

While it’s super cheap, they make you sign a long list of things that if lost you’ll have to pay for. I will say the plus side was the security booth. If you are in need of a last minute cheap hotel, I’d recommend.

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Terrible front desk staff, we both got sick when we stayed there the sheet smelled. This place truly ruined our experience at Mexico. I never put reviews but if i can write more about how horrible our experience was at this on every platform i would. DONT BOOK HERE there are alot more better places to stay - this place even charges $40 USD PER NIGHT FOR THE SECOND GUEST (who stays alone at a resort???)

We stayed at the penthouse suite. The views were beautiful, and when they came in to clean, it was done well. However, when we were checking out, the girl at the counter was beyond rude and disrespectful. She clearly did not want to help us check out, and her attitude showed it. The penthouse suite also had poor water pressure, and the shower door in one bathroom would not close. Location is great customer service needed some work. The girl at the girl at the information center was nice, helpful and polite.

The price and location were good. The ocean view was fantastic. The pool is clean and has lots of tables and chairs for guest. The beaches are clean. The cleaners were so-so, missed alot, they dont wash your dishes, just wiped them off and put them in the cabinet. You have 4 forks, spoons, butter knifes, plastic plates, bowel and coffee cups. Don't plan on cooking in the kitchen, no utensils. No hot water in kitchen or dish soap. Our counter top mirowave was located above the stove top vent inside the kitchen cabinet, where it is installed. The shower is big and roomy, but ours only had one sliding glass door. No where to hang up towels or wet clothes. The staff was friendly and helpful. Don't plan on early checkin, 10 minutes early, just pile your bags in the corner and wait with the other guest. Welcome to Cancun.
