All personnel are so polite. This is my third time at this facility. Gets better every time...especially the food. The room cleaning Serice is especially notable. The furniture needs update but none the less serviceable. The pool is among the best.

I stayed 4 days and had a wonderful time. The food is good and I loved having an omelet made to my liking everyday. The beach is small but I heard there was a bigger one up the street but i really enjoyed myself and meeting new friends

I liked this place if you are looking for a quiet atmosphere. There isn’t much going on at this resort so you will be bored if you are looking for things to do but the ocean area is nice no waves but a bit rocky. Overall I liked it the food was mediocre but that’s almost with all inclusive so that doesn’t bother me.

Great experience! Only a minor confusion with Barcelo, no one picked us up at the airport the night we landed despite scheduling through the link the hotel sent me. Nonetheless, Barcelo refunded me for the amount of $200 CAD. It took a while, but they got back to me while I was already back in Canada and I appreciated that they were on top of it through email. Food was incredible and loved the buffets. The portion of the beach is a bit small compared to the hotels on the other side, but you can't go wrong with such a good deal!

If you go to their buffet named Albatross. Look for a guy named Vanilly. Best in the business. Amazing worker, has excellent attitude. Bartenders were also great.

I booked a room with a queen size bed but was given two separate double beds. It was very uncomfortable to sleep because of my height. The location was close to the downtown, city, Isla de Mujeres, shopping, restaurants, clubs and entertainment. The front desk staff was not welcoming and disinterested. The entire staff in the restaurants l, bars, entertainment and grounds were exceptional and very professional. The beach water was not the typical clear and blue Caribbean color. It was dark. The beach access was very small and rocky. The tv resolution was 720p and not 1080p or HD. The small refrigerator didn't keep the items inside cold. The beds where hard and firm. The alcoholic beverages were watered down. No brand liquor. The food in the buffet was not really hot and there wasn't many choices. The room was outdated. The towels felt not soft. The bathroom sink water took long to become warm and hot. Overall I was disappointed with my stay, specifically the food, drinks, beach and room.

Definitely a great place to stay. Our first room was pretty poorly maintained, had pipes running through it that smelled like sulfur. HOWEVER!! They were accommodating enough to switch us to a different room that had literally zero issues and turned this into a 5 star review. The food is good, the buffet honestly blows the specialty restaurants out of the water. Except the MexicoLindo restaurant is the best of the theee. They also have a 24/7 snack bar that has real food moreso than just snacks. Strength of the drinks definitely varies based on the person serving you. Staff are nice, as they are at most hotels around here.

The food and service were excellent. The room was nice. The pool area was great. Each morning for breakfast we were greeted warmly by. Vanilly, Alfredo and Carlos. Best service ever! Our favorite dinner was at Mexico, Lindo the Poc Chuc was amazing. Antonio was a great server. We will definitely stay again.
