My husband and I upgraded to Rock Royalty Ocean View. We stayed on the 3rd Floor which is Adults Only with our own Bar Area, 2 pools, and a snack bar that was great! We also had our Concierge Jesus and Mitzi. They were AMAZING! They always had a special romantic surprise for us and tried to accommodate any request regarding the room. They went above and beyond with chocolate covered strawberries and presecco, a romantic tub soak set up, and also a romantic dinner as well. Turn down service and house keeping was amazing as well. The view was beautiful. No mold in the room at all and no musty smell. The food was a amazing lots of options. Tip...always be where ever you want to eat at 6 pm. Breakfast was nice at Frida but we ordered room service for breakfast the rest of the time because we wanted to snuggle. Transportion was easy to book though Expedia but when you get to the Airport it can be a little daunting leaving to find your transportation outside. Just keep asking where the company is. It took us about 20 minutes. But our driver was really nice. In fact everyone is so nice! Tip well you'll be treated like Royalty. Definitely will stay there again.

Overall it was pretty decent. The service was a 10/10. Pool and outdoor area was great. The food was alright, definitely not as good as the pictures made it look…food was maybe a 7/10. The bedsheets had stains on them when we arrived and so did the pillows and comforter. The full body massage was pretty good. I also had a facial and it was super basic…I would pass on the facial next time.

To start, I frequently visit Cancun, 3-4 times per year, staying at various all-inclusive resorts. I have also visited with my little dog 3 times thus far. So it is not that my expectations are inappropriate, but rather that your hotel does not meet the standard set by all the other hotels listed as "5 star". Firstly, our flight was delayed 2 hrs and therefore our check in was not until 11 pm. As a result, we missed dinner in our 3-day trip. However, when it came to checking out (our transport time was 5:30 pm), the hotel said we could not have any food or drinks after 3 pm? So truly that is missing 2 meals in our trip, and I expect a refund for the portion that was taken away from us. I have never ever had a hotel say, "you are not allowed to consume anything on premise for 3 hours while you sit here". That's absolutely ridiculous and absurd, especially as a so called 5-star hotel. The resort staff (especially the awful resort manager) were unaccommodating. I was travelling with my little dog, as I mentioned. I understand that there are areas dog cannot be in, like inside restaurants, but the pool area for the dog was on the OTHER SIDE of the resort & completely isolated, with no umbrellas for shade, so the dog will literally DIE in the heat. Additionally, on the last day the "dog area" was closed for a private event and I was told to go to another "dog friendly area" which basically meant the lobby. So i paid for a 3 day trip to be told 1 day cannot be spent by the pool.

This is by far the worst resort that me and family of 5 been to. It’s really outdated and really small. Nothing to do with the kiddos. However the food was not too bad, our favourite was the Italian restaurant and the unlimited room service. Our room had a bad smell of mould. Would I ever come back, hell no. The legendary crew was a bit annoying with the time share.

Good all inclusive property. There was sea weed when I visited the beach during August so check in advance. The property has a weekly schedule of activities and an amazing pool. It is both family and adult friendly.
