They aggressively tried to sell us membership or time share. They didn't take nonfor an answer. We walked away and they were upset. after we said no all smiles were gone! Before the NO to membership all smiles and we were being followed.

I booked a stay at the Pyramid Hotel this week, but the experience was awful from start to finish. - Reservation chaos: Upon arrival, the Pyramid Hotel could not locate my reservation for four hours. I contacted Expedia for assistance, but they were unable to reach any staff at the Pyramid Hotel to resolve the issue. - Inadequate alternative: After a long delay, Expedia booked me at the Oasis Hotel, a sister property within the same facility. I accepted because I just needed to rest, but there was no clear explanation for the change or proactive help to ensure a smooth transition. - Unacceptable room condition: The Oasis room was filthy. It smelled strongly of mildew, the showers were moldy, there was no hot water, and the toilets wouldn’t flush. To top it off, there was a cockroach infestation. When I reported the problems, staff did not move me to a different room or escalate the issue; instead, someone came with bug spray, which did not resolve the underlying problems. - Noise and safety concerns: The room was near nonstop entertainment—loud music from 10 AM to 11 PM—which defeated the purpose of paying for rest. As a solo female traveler, I also felt unsafe due to a lack of visible security. I requested help from Expedia to move to a different hotel or upgrade to a room with better conditions, even willing to pay more if needed, but my request was denied. I felt stuck in an unsuitable and unsafe. Expedia shame on you.

Room wasn’t that bad but lots of places were leaking from the ceiling. The elevator was smelly and takes very long to come, the food was ok 3 out of 5, lots of the restaurants were closed not really an all inclusive deal. I paid extra for Ocean view and shouldn’t be called ocean view a whole building was covering the ocean front of our balcony and I was on the 6th floor, the beach of this property was very small

My stay at Grand Oasis Cancun was, without exaggeration, one of the most disappointing travel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this property is not maintained to the standards you would expect from a resort of its size or price. The room was dirty—not just overlooked, but neglected—with visible signs of poor cleaning and little attention to detail. Public areas weren’t much better, with trash left around and facilities that looked tired and uncared for. But the worst part of the entire experience was the attitude of the staff. Throughout my stay, I was met with rudeness, unhelpfulness, and in several situations, outright disrespect. At times it felt as though guests were treated as a burden rather than valued customers. Basic courtesy and professionalism—the bare minimum in the hospitality industry—were completely absent. On top of that, there were long lines for everything—check-in, bars, and even restaurants. Drinks were limited per person, which is unacceptable for an all-inclusive resort. There was always a wait, even though I visited in October, which isn’t even a busy season. The property was overcrowded, disorganized, and completely failed to deliver the relaxing experience you expect when booking an all-inclusive stay. What makes this even more disappointing is that a trip to Cancun should be enjoyable and memorable, but instead, this hotel left me frustrated and counting the days until I could leave.
