It is a waste to have such a run-down property at such a beautiful beach of Cancun. The view was great and the beach were best; however, the property really need to upgrade and renew/renovated!. I have booked the Altitude which is the newest of all three Krystal in this area and it is ashamed to say that it is out-dated with rusted! I can’t imagine what it would be like staying at the older buildings and at Krystal alone. I believe the owner/property management should think about reinvesting into this beautiful location. You are missing out on attracting more affluent customers because all your amenities are outdated even the restaurants option/choice are limited.

We stayed in the Altitude Tower at Krystal Grand Cancun, January 2025. Our room was modern and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We spent the majority of our days at the beach which was clean and safe. We chose the all-inclusive package and were disappointed in the food at the grill and Italian restaurants, there were approximately 3 menu items included in the all-inclusive package and they were fairly small servings. Food at the Japanese and hibachi restaurants was very good and the buffet was okay. Booking through Expedia allowed us to make supper reservations for the entire stay. Before our stay I reached out to the resort via Expedia and they promptly replied. We’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view and Beach. Nice spacious rooms and friendly employees. Buffet employees could’ve been nicer and waiters didn’t care to get you drinks but all other employees went above and beyond. Concierge Janer was the Best! He definitely went above and beyond! Thank you for a wonderful vacation stay!

The resort is located in an ideal spot. The view of the ocean and the hotel strip is phenomenal. We had the corner suite which is worth it for the view. This was the third time we stayed at the Krystal and we felt that the food was not as good as previously. The Ayami restaurant had less options as well as The Grill for dinner. If you are looking for great food, we have had better at other resorts.

All-round fantastic stay.

Had a great stay at the Altitude Tower. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating, beach is fantastic (just need to get there early to claim your spot). Booked the Balinese beds at the Beach and Moskito beach bar, real bliss. Came here for my wife’s birthday and we probably had 5 cakes and celebrations organised by the team without us even asking!

The staff take pride in the cleanliness of the facilities. Every single day I saw them cleaning and making sure all outdoor areas were cleaned, pained, pressure washed, etc… Very impressed with the upkeep. Pool staff were wonderful! Service was quick and they often checked up on you. Housekeeping was great as well, although our mini bar was not restocked 3 days in a row, which was frustrating. Restaurants were good. I was not able to make reservations because we were a party of 5. Halfway through our stay I asked about it and finally we had assistance making evening reservations. Saw many guests with Altitude beach bags. We were never given any gifts or items at check in. We tipped all services very well.

I had a great experience at Krystal Grand Cancun Resort! The location is unbeatable, with stunning beachfront views and easy access to the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The staff was welcoming and attentive, Mariana and Janer were always going above and beyond, from helping us with transportation from the airport to the resort to ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, making sure we had dinner reservations and take advantage of our benefits of all inclusive. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a balcony that offered breathtaking views of the ocean. The amenities, including the pools and bars, were top-notch. We particularly enjoyed the infinity pool and the lively yet relaxed atmosphere throughout the resort. I highly recommend Krystal Grand Cancun for anyone looking for a stress-free all-inclusive experience. We can’t wait to return to Cancun for another unforgettable vacation!

Beautiful property on a great part of the Cancún beach. The rock barrier prevents big waves making it very family friendly. The Altitude tower was pretty new and well set up. Clean, modern facilities. The restaurants had ok selection - not the best we have seen at 4 star resorts but also not bad. Service on the beach was excellent. Service in the restaurants was very slow. Resort is smaller than others in this area. Fine if you have a palapa or balibed rental on the beach. If not, the crowd at this resort claims every open chair early making it hard to find somewhere to sit until late in the day.

Not as advertised. There was no night entertainment and nothing to do at the resort for families. The beach was great, the best part. The property and rooms are not maintained, kids were picking up pool tiles off the bottom of the pool for fun. Tiles were chipped and not repaired in our room. Dinner reservations were often not consistent - not uncommon to wait for 2hrs at the restaurants for dinner - does not work with children. There is no steak house. Everything is available for an additional charge, despite the fact that you are all inclusive. Close to downtown so you could walk and explore shops, and restaurants. Bars on the resort do not open until 11am. Service was slow. Buffet is not kid friendly. Room service was a great option. Would not stay here again.
