That was a wonderful stay. Very spacious, very accommodating, with a full kitchen, everything I needed. Even laundry machines with detergent so I don't fly home with stinky luggage; intended or not thank you for that. Would do it again for sure!

There are so many things to rave about staying at the Doghouse. The room was really nice and the amenities were excellent, including comfy robes, Elvis Juice scented soaps and such, tooth and shaving care without having to ask, and a fridge stocked with beer and drinks. Got the Top Dog package, so no charge for those and took what wasn’t drank home. Also enjoyed dinner, dessert, and beer flights. Only complaints were the hotel reception upon arrival was lackluster and didn’t give me my stout and cookie. Other staff more than made up for that, though, and I look forward to doing it again.

I have a habit of thoroughly checking a hotel room when I arrive, particularly the bedding and mattress area, before bringing in my belongings. I am extremely thankful I did so in this case. Within approximately three minutes of checking into the room, I noticed what appeared to be clear bed bug fecal spotting along the bedskirt/mattress area. Given the amount and location of the spotting, I was immediately uncomfortable with staying in the room and checked out. I was concerned not only about the condition of the room, but also about potentially bringing bed bugs home with me on my luggage and belongings. This was especially disappointing because the issue was visible almost immediately upon entering the room. To the hotel's credit, the front desk refunded my stay without any difficulty, and I appreciate that they handled the refund promptly. That said, the ease with which the refund was provided left me wondering whether management was already aware of an issue with that room. I cannot say that they were, but I do feel this is something the hotel should investigate thoroughly before allowing the room to be occupied again. I would strongly encourage management to inspect the room, including the mattress, box spring, bed frame, and surrounding areas, and address the issue before another guest is placed in that room.
