Great location and very spacious inside the motel. Two minute walk to the beach and all the local restaurants were very close by. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the area.

Great stay

This place is a pleasant surprise - fantastic location, very comfortable and good service from Waves reception staff. There are no fly screens so we couldn’t open any windows due to the flies in summer. Aircon is very old and noisy (but works). Overall we had a comfortable stay.

It was very basic, but had everything you needed. It could have been cleaner. I thought it was expensive for such an old room. Great location though, would I stay again? Probably not.

Nice, quiet spot to spend a couple of days in Byron bay. Simple amenities, staff is friendly and helpful. Free parking and the main beach and walkway is right around the corner.

Great budget style accommodation. Fabulous location, 5 minutes walk to all the main dining, bars and beach. Would have been helpful to have flyscreens on the windows so we could keep the windows open to let fresh air in, or maybe a ceiling fan to circulate the air. Shower could do with an ungrade and bathroom was a bit small. Beds were super comfy.

Motel doesn't look like much from the outside. However the inside of the rooms appears to have been refurbished and is quite decent. Check in staff friendly. Location is excellent being near the beach, bars and cafes.
