"Perfect Stopover "
We stayed here after returning to London from Glasgow. We had an early flight to Miami and the Hyatt was the perfect solution. We took the train into London for an extra day on the town and came back by train around midnight. The hotel is close (by bus) to the airport and everything worked out perfectly.

"Prime location in London."
We had arrived early and was worried that our room would not be ready to put away our luggage and relax. Fortunately, it was! Through their self check-in computers, I was able to even select a couple of options of room views and floor levels. Since this was my first time in London, obviously I chose the highest level available and to see the Tower of London from our window. Love the minimalist and simplicity but modern this brand of Hotel is. Just here to sleep, relax and use of private pod-style bathroom. Everything was all link to an iPod: Change mood lighting, lowering the blinds, TV, and temperature. Room was just enough space for 2 people and our carry-ons were able to fit in the wide drawer underneath the wall-to-wall size king bed. Drinks and food choices were excellent and to get around London, everything was close...especially the tube was on the corner.

"Nice hotel in a great location"
The hotel room was clean and well-furnished but rather small. The hotel is in a great location and the doormen, cleaning staff and bar staff were friendly, nice and courteous. However, upon check-in we were given key cards to a room that was already occupied. Luckily, no one was present in the room and embarrassment was avoided. Tired after a transatlantic flight, we had to go downstairs with luggage back to the front desk. This is the first time I've encountered a serious blunder like this at a hotel and I travel a lot. The hotel did promptly and graciously issue a hand-written apology and two vouchers for drinks. I had asked the same front desk lady to see if we could possibly secure a slightly larger room with a king bed. She said she would contact me once one is free in a day or two, which never happened. Despite the glitches, we enjoyed the location and the cozy, boutique atmosphere of the hotel. We would happily return again.

"Modern Hotel, Great CitizenM Attitude!"
This hotel was fun! It has a self check-in, which allows you to "pick" your room (city view, etc.). There is a person/people available to assist you with self check-in if necessary, but the screens are pretty user friendly. The rooms are fun, and filled with "CitizenM says" humor found everywhere throughout the room. The room is small, bed stretches the width of the room, and the space is well utilized to make the room feel bigger than it is. The room has an ipad that allows you to customize things such as mood lighting, blinds, lights, TV, etc. (There are normal light switches and remotes too, if technology worries you.) There was construction right outside our window, which meant no sleeping in - even if we wanted to. But if the construction wasn't there, the room darkenling blinds and a shower with the CitizenM PM soap would have been enough to allow anyone to sleep, regardless of the time of day. We had someone meet us at the hotel, and the friendly staff even assisted her to find out whether we had checked in or not, and showed her to seating in the lobby! The hotel has a grocery store across the street, and is within walking distance to the London Bridge train station (8min walk), Borough Market (8min walk), Globe Theatre (5min walk), Tate Modern, the Millenium Bridge, and many other gems. There are a few restaurants and pubs quite close too. Checkout was easy too! All self-checkout... and the room key is setup to be a luggage tag when you leave. All great touches!

"Comfortable hotel in perfect location"
We recently spent eleven nights at this hotel. We had a lovely room on the ninth floor, overlooking Kensington Gardens. Although it was on a main road, we could not hear the traffic. The staff at the desk are very helpful and welcoming. We were delighted to find wine and a welcome card in the room, as well as regular free still and sparkling water, coffee, tea and biscuits. The breakfast was excellent and cheaper if you booked in advance. The location was wonderful - very safe and close to many restaurants. There are two close tube stations and it is on the bus route. We enjoyed walking to Oxford Street and museums through the parks. We would definitely stay there again.

"Perfect location; wonderful staff!"
This is the second time we've stayed at the Royal Horseguards and we weren't disappointed. You couldn't ask for a better location: right near the Underground, restaurants and the bridge to walk over to the other side of the Thames. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet and the staff and concierge were very accommodating.

Buckinghamshire is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Buckinghamshire, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Buckinghamshire hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
