The resort fee seems a little silly since it’s not actually a resort- it’s a great hotel but resort? In Darien? A stretch. But otherwise I love the place and stay there every time I’m visiting my family.

I was only there for one night but enjoyed the balcony room with river view. Service was fabulous! I had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and the food and staff were wonderful.

The best was the lovely gentleman at the restaurant. His customer service was top-notch. A group of people came in wanting to watch various things and he accommodated everyone while making sure that everyone else got attention and served. The food was delicious and the view was great. I was just sad I missed happy hour!

What a gem. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the most amazing staff members and each one we met were lovely. There is gorgeous local art for sale and it is a very chic boutique hotel. We travel all over the US and our dinner was the best dinner we’ve had since we were in NYC in the spring. The Chef and his team clearly put their heart and soul into each dish. Our server, Erica was exceptional. The room was well appointed, but I would suggest a small nightstand for water and coffee by the other side of the bed and a bench in the shower for shaving. The pillows and bedding were literally heavenly. I’ve already emailed the company in Spain to see if I can purchase my own. The housekeeper was delightful this morning as well. Will absolutely be back.
