Location, location, location. The hotel faces a small plaza with a cheerful fountain. Pro: It is only one block from the central market and a view of the Roman era wall. You are < quarter mile from the Basilica complex. The breakfast is good and comes with various selections. There is a hotel discount prize when you park under the Pilar plaza. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff is professional and courteous. The beds are very comfy and the rooms a good size for EU standards. The area is quiet. Con: I had issue with cleanliness of floors and lack of dusting of corners and cornices. We could not step out on the balcony as there was quiet a bit of bird droppings,
