"Great Hotel"
Very happy with the hotel - clean, modern, secure, friendly staff, speedy check-in and check-out, decent buffet breakfast and just across the road from Brighton train station/station car park. Stayed one night in a superior triple room on 4th floor, which was quiet and equipped with toiletries, towels an iron and ironing board. Would recommend!

"Lovely but room would benefit from soundproofing"
The hotel is really charming, and the staff absolutely outstanding. Our room was very clean and comfortable, of excellent standard, spacious and decorated with taste. The breakfast is very good, seated breakfast rather than buffet, with choice of eggs, bacon, salmon, etc. made to order. The only negative point was that our room was separated from the one next to ours by only a locked door, and you could hear relatively distinctively the neighbours. We probably wouldn't have minded, but unfortunately our neighbours had an animated discussion from 4:30 to 6.30am! They weren't unreasonably noisy (not particularly quiet either), but it was difficult to sleep because of the poor soundproofing of the door.

"Lovely little single room"
The room was small but cozy, not crowded, perfect for a single traveler. Bed was nearly as comfortable as my bed back home and I slept like a rock every night. The bathroom is spacious, water pressure in the shower is a Godsend. Very little ambient noise in the hotel, nice and quiet. I put the DND sign up instead of taking room service every day and they left me a nice courtesy letter that told me how to get fresh towels regardless of no room cleaning that day. Staff is friendly, helpful, and second pillow was provided before I could even ask for one. View from my hotel window wasn't the best but the view just outside the hotel, and from the lobby and dining area, is absolutely lovely. Just across King's Road is the beach. Wonderful place, I'd love to come back to King's Hotel and Brighton.

"Would have been a 5/5 but there were a few issues."
Had a few issues at this hotel (Nothing major) but not sure if it was the hotels fault for a couple or Expedia. Booked a specific room (Sea View Corner Suite) and specified that I would like to confirm that there was a bath in the bedroom before following through with the booking. Expedia confirmed that there was a bath in the bedroom and that they had confirmed with the hotel and made a note about it on the account. Turned up and was given my room number and key upon checking in, wen't up to my room and I had a different room that not only didn't have a bath in the bedroom but it didn't even have a bath in the bathroom. I went down to ask about it and luckily had the not on the booking to show that it was confirmed that the room I had booked came with a bath in the bedroom. I was given a new room within about 20 minutes and moved into it. The Sea View Corner Suite is awesome, the only issue I had was that one of the windows was blocked by scaffolding, so we had to have the blinds drawn on that part. I believe that might have been why we were given a different room to begin with (Higher up room had no scaffolding) but it would have been nice to have been warned that there was building work going on. As we left for dinner the staff apologised for the mix up and stated that they would deliver a bottle of wine to the room for us, they didn't have to but wanted to. This was never actually acted upon and nothing was dropped off at the room.

Brighton and Hove is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Brighton and Hove, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Brighton and Hove hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
